She connected easily with our two-year-old and the environment is fun and interactive with music, movement, books, puppets, and props that keep our child engaged. For a child with one parent who is a native German speaker, and one who is not, this class has been a perfect fit to develop and strengthen her second-language abilities in a very relaxed but immersive manner. Not only is our child speaking more German at home without being prompted, she also looks forward to her class with excitement every week.

I wish I had started sooner, but better late than never. I must've walked past this place 100 times before I decided to go in the door and sign up for classes two years ago. So glad I did! Not only is it good brain exercise, but it's fun! This is not your high school Spanish class. These are classes for adults. ¡A veces traemos vino a clase!

(And many of my classmates work for a living and fit the class into their lunch breaks, just fine!) The buddy system is also great. This is not an easy class, but it has really improved my confidence in speaking, helping me be less self conscious. I have a degree in teaching and Amanda's style works well for me as a kinesthetic learner -- lots of whole body motions, songs, and exaggerated expressions to help the language "stick". The online resources are also very helpful -- to match a variety of learning styles. This class is a very good value and pace. It is a commitment, but learning a language requires daily practice. I've had a lot of fun and can see my progress week to week. I've also enjoyed getting to know my classmates. I wear a mask in class, but not everyone does. There are online options for some levels, too.

Like any class, the more you put in the more you get out. I needed more practice with verb tenses than was officially allotted, even with the homework, but various online resources were suggested for that. All-in-all, a pleasant way to learn.

The rooms lack proper acoustics, it wasn't unusual to hear the traffic outside or the occasional crazy person screaming aloud. Sometimes you hear the outside world more than your teacher, which I often complained about when we completed our evaluations at the end of every course. The school staff are friendly and always ready to answer questions. Women, take note: classes are held in the evening. A former classmate was mistaken for a prostitute late one night, and she was more offended at the offered rate than the mistaken identity.

What sets Sno Spring apart from other schools is the incredible stability and dedication of the staff. Unlike schools with high turnover rates, most of the teachers here have been teaching for 10+ years. Every single teacher is loving, caring, and truly dedicated to their profession. Academically, the school is fantastic. They do a wonderful job accommodating math and reading levels to match each student's individual progress. My younger son started in preschool with very little English. After just one year, he was reading independently at an AR level of 1.4. Now in 1st grade, he is a confident reader at level 5.1! We are so impressed with his academic achievements, but that's only half the story. Beyond the academic, the teachers encourage the kids to behave properly, build confidence, and make friends. My son has developed into a caring, responsible kid. Today was his last day as he moves to a new private school. He cried the whole afternoon since he didn't want to leave. He told me that he feels loved every single day and that what he will miss most are the teachers who taught him not just knowledge, but how to be a confident person who cares for others.
