The before and after essays were night and day in difference. There is no denying that they were a monumental help. Then, when I thought she was now doing great in school, I got a bombshell report at the teacher-parent conference where I was told she wasn't turning in most of her Math homework or classwork. So I had Sylvan switch tracks for her to study Math for the second half of the year, after the writing segment was wrapped up. Today, she is about a year ahead of her grade in Math and is looking to take the test to skip 6th grade Math as a result.
