The Gold Standard. Friendly faces greet you , the music is spot on, nice place to sit and enjoy your amazing tacos. They cook the meat in small batches so it is alway fresh, the perfectly fried corn tortillas taste so good ! The corn tortillas are topped with the meat of your choice, I chose steak , the seasoning on the meat is out of this world. Then finely chopped cilantro and onions, in the middle of my four tacos was more larger fried onions, cucumber slices and a lemon wedge top off the plate . As far as hot sauce goes the avocado based green sauce and a great flavor with just a little kick , the roasted Chile sauce was much spicier and will leave you wanting more ! The roasted jalapeño wedges were flavorful and spicy. If I was full and driving by this truck I would stop and eat again. This badge I give to this truck really means something, I cannot recommend this taco truck high enough

Supposed to have the works(per the lady working the register) asada, beans, onion cilantro, avocado, sour cream, cheese & lettuce (I omitted the rice) - $40 for 2 burritos sorry, ridiculously over priced. Got worse when I bit into the burrito and all it had was meat and beans - w/a touch of sour cream. Got to the middle of the burrito - still no avocado, onion, cilantro, cheese, lettuce in sight. This wasn't an error either because both burritos were ordered exactly the same way and both were made the same. The truck had one worker and one customer besides me, so there's no oversight. This has been a stop for me for over 10yrs for a quick bite while on the 5, as of today never again.

Meat choices: bacon, carne asada, chorizo and al pastor Standard fillings: shredded cheese, salt, butter, sour cream, green onions and jalapenõs Potato is baked, filling is scooped out, adding, butter, salt (always order no salt), sour cream and a bit of shredded cheese. Everything is then mashed together and added back to the potato shell (kinda like a twice baked potato). Then topped with shredded cheese, choice of meat (I ordered bacon), green onions and pickled jalapenõs. All flavors come together beautifully and the texture is very creamy and delicious. My potato was about $15, price is right on point. They also offer roasted corn, esquite, a couple of different types of nachos. This is a food truck located on the east side of Pemex (County Line Road) The offer some outdoor seating. Parking is ok but shared with the gas station. They accept call-ins and walk-ups. Cash or card Service is quick and very friendly. Ambiance is very laidback. Support your local small business.

All the food is great and the service is so very friendly and fast. It is part buffet and part order from the menu. You can have pick up, delivery or eat there. We love to eat there because the food smells so good while we are there. We have also done pick up and delivery. Founded by co-owners John Aliwalas and Jeneryn San Antonio, it was local food truck favorite and now it has it own home. The owners left healthcare careers during the pandemic to share their family recipes and bring traditional Filipino comfort food to the local community. They worked so hard to get their truck going and now success with the best Filipino food ins all of Bakersfield. The dining room has a homey atmosphere with great cultural wall murals and rattan accents. All of their food is great. Our favorite is their chicken and they make a great rice. There is just nothing not to love here.

There is very little seating tho, so try to come during slower hours if you want a seat.

We arrived to find half a dozen people already standing outside the truck, with a guy outside taking phone orders. He was quite busy taking those orders, so don't be surprised if you call in and can't get through; just plan on calling far enough ahead to avoid the lunch rush. In fact, calling ahead seems to be the ideal game plan. Not that the wait for long, but standing outside certainly makes it feel longer than it is. After seeing their drool-worthy Instagram photo of the Pambazo, I was sold. What is a pambazo? Well, think a torta but way messier. It's filled with potatoes and chorizo, and finished off with some of the typical torta toppings. Then (here's the kicker!) it's drenched in a red pepper sauce. Grab a handful of napkins with this sandwich; you're going to need them. In all, I was pleased with the quality and efficiency of The Curbside Kitchen; and just in time since NV Cafe closed their doors recently. I'm excited to try some of their other menu items.
