Casa Ramona is by far the best brunch in Laredo! I've tried most places if not all and yes hands down the chilaquiles are the best here. The service is quick and the server was so polite and friendly. The decor is so unique, so modern and rustic, and beautifully done. The entire place is so inviting except the bathroom. Needs a little tlc.

The food awesome! Attentive service and excellent ambiance! Everything is amazing! I recommend this place!

Looks pretty, but that's about it. food is overpriced and is nothing amazing. Can get better food for cheaper at other places.

Excellent service! Very tasty food options. Their coffee was great and the pistachio pancakes were decadent.

It's stunning, warm, and effortlessly chic, the kind of space that makes you pause and think, wow, I want to stay here forever. The food is absolutely delicious in a way that feels borderline unfair. Every dish was perfectly executed, packed with flavor, and honestly made me question every brunch decision I've ever made before this moment. And the drinks? Splendid doesn't even begin to cover it. Beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and dangerous in the best way -- these alone are reason enough to come back.

First things first: I was super impressed. The inside is nice and the servers were great too, but our food stole the show. I got the Chicken and waffles and they were super good. There's always something about Chicken going well with waffles that somehow works, but thankfully it does. Wife got the El Gringo plate and she thoroughly enjoyed it too. We both wish we could have had more but for what we got it was really filling. If we ever do come back to Laredo we will stop by again. FYI apparently some or a good handful of the brunch plates come with pancakes on the side, according to our server, but it's not mentioned on the menu.

The prices here are reasonable compared to Houston or Dallas, for example, but most everything is a la carte, so you can spend a lot quickly if not careful. My eyes were set on the seabass ceviche, so I know I had to have that. I also wanted a cocktail, but I remembered I had a long drive ahead of me, so I just opted for more food instead. I ordered the corn flake fried chicken sandwich. Ceviche - a nicely sized portion that comes with 2 crispy tortillas. Inside the ceviche are finely diced carrots, red onions and cucumbers, cilantro, sliced avocado, and numerous pieces of diced fish and lime juice at the bottom. 5/5 Chicken sandwich - served on a plate with 2 sliced yellow cherry tomatoes sitting face down. This has a large breast, with pickles and cole slaw. 3/5 This is my kinda place, and it seems fairly unusual to find a restaurant like this in Laredo of all places. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Laredo.

The menu online looks spectacular and had a lot of interesting dishes. I was super excited. I saw that they were open late and I was also very happy about this because my meal was after work. I arrived at 9:30 walked in the side entrance and saw a post hunched over and squatted down, looking at her iPhone. I also saw another employee leaning on the host stand talking to her. He didn't greet me neither did she until I walked to the front of the house stand. She got up from her crouch position and said can I help you? I was surprised to see what she was wearing, an oversized hoodie with some type of logo on it, which was not an appropriate thing to wear, and it did not match the other employee that were more crisp. I said dining for one and grabbed a menu and slid it across the host stand out of pure laziness. She slumped her way over with the menu hanging on her left side and sat me at a table. Wow what a lousy first impression for a restaurant that I was so excited to visit. A server came over gave me a menu and brought me water. Disappointed to see that the menu was completely different from the menu that I saw online. No unique dishes and the variety was not great. However, I was there and felt I'd give it a chance. A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service. As a restaurant professional in California, I can't figure out if it's just a Texas thing or they rate everything high or this restaurant truly is deserving of its accolades..

I went for brunch so i can imagine dinner would be as good too. When you walk in its very posh and comfy seating. The service was great. They were very attentive and making sure you were satisfied. Our waitress was great at recommending plates. The manager was a sweetheart and happy for people enjoying their food. When you arrive they give you complimentary bread that was sweet and good. They have a variety of breakfast drinks to choose from. They also have a fully set up bar with cocktails and mocktails. I ordered the eggs Benedict and they were so good! They literally hit the flavor to the way they should be made. The fact too it comes with actual hasbrowns and not breakfast potatoes was the best thing ever! My mother and aunt got the chilaquiles rojos but one of them had mushrooms. The sauce was spot on on this dish. You definitely need to order them.
