This restaurant was awesome overall. It has a small, family-oriented feel and seems to be very popular with locals. The menu offers a good variety of options, and the food itself was excellent.
However, there's something important to be aware of. They tend to bring items you didn't order and then add them to your bill. For example, we were given a bread basket that we never asked for--and didn't even eat--but were still charged for it.
Another situation: there were two of us, and my companion ordered an appetizer (bread with tomato). I didn't want it since I had ordered my own dish, but they brought two portions anyway, even though only one was requested--and we were charged for both.
After this happened a couple of times, I checked the reviews and noticed others had similar experiences. Because of that, when it came time for dessert, we declined everything were more assertive and left fairly quickly to avoid being served more items we didn't order.
It's unfortunate, because the food and service were genuinely good. But being given items you didn't request and then charged for them really takes away from the experience and significantly lowered my overall rating. read more
