But we both have day jobs and didn't have enough free time on our hands to get our hone gussied up. Enter Cascade Maids. From the moment I first contacted Cascade Maids, the experience was nothing short of exemplary. They integrate with Google quite well and I was able to chat with someone through GMail to explain our needs. After finding their pricing and services quite affordable, I spoke to their agent over the phone to provide our payment information. Then on the day of our booking their cleaner arrived and went to town! Luckily I was able to work from home that day so I could go about my business while the cleaner went about theirs. After about three hours or so they were done and the results were quite impressive for the amount we were charged. I got the standard service as opposed to the deep clean this time around since we didn't really need every room in the house cleaned. But next time we probably will do the deep cleaning to get that open house look. (With the deep cleaning comes an extra guaranty that if you're not satisfied they come to clean your house again for free.) They don't know what a bid means, you fill out their Q&A for a move out clean square footage, bedrooms,bathroom & so on then they quote you a price...crew no English have to use Google translator then told they cant do the job in the time quoted and will need another 3 hours or they will only be able to do two rooms & not very thorough....they quoted the rooms and square footage & couldn't come close to to doing the job as if they have no idea what a quote or a move out clean is. Im pretty sure this is the common practice. When we moved in we had one girl do a thorough job on the bathroom,kitchen & dinning room for 200 how two couldn't come close to finishing 1 of those completely is a mystery. The fix? Dont offer a quote based on square footage, bathrooms,bedrooms & type of clean because it will not be honored & will be up sold for more hours and more money or left quarter done. read more

After all was said and done the cleaning was more thorough than any I've had before. I thought there would be additional charges because I have small children and the house was considerably grimy, but there was nothing extra charged. I reached out for a quote for a deep cleaning and regular service. Their website gave me one number for what I thought was deep cleaning but when the company started reaching out by text, they increased the cost by over 100 for the deep cleaning and over 20% for the regular cleaning. They said they did this based off square footage of my house. They also know I only need part of my house cleaned so they said they "gave me a discount" but they over estimated the square footage. I've been meaning to write this review for a month. I am selling my house and moving back to Texas. I scheduled them for August 19th to do a deep cleaning. I wanted everything looking spick-and-span for when the house got listed and showings. The cleaning lady (I am sorry I cannot remember her name and a review of their system generated emails did not provide it) was actually a few minutes early which was nice. She got started right away with the upstairs bedrooms then proceeded downstairs. She was very thorough in cleaning everywhere (as mentioned this was a deep cleaning), even places I didn't think about, and took most of the day which was fine with me. There's an old saying "Measure twice, cut once" which basically means "Take you time and do it right the first time". Scheduled this back end of 2019 before COVID hit for March. Had to reschedule because of obvious issues with social distancing. Super easy and quick to do so, with texting and email or call reminders, and was even able to text me to remind me to update my credit card that I had cancelled. I had Ms. Sabrina come out on Thursday to do a deep clean. I was home so I could show her some of the problem areas. She was very receptive. Desiree arrived right on time and did a fantastic job on the deep clean. Counters, sinks, and surfaces all looked as good as new. Hired this place to do a move out cleaning of a townhouse. The booking was easy enough and fairly priced to clean an empty house. The service was booked for 8 hours and was told after four hours they were going to need an additional two hours which is charged at an hourly rate. I did not schedule the additional time right away and was told that I would be contacted that evening to be told what was leftover. I did not receive any information from them until the next day, in addition to that it was actually the landlord of the property who contacted me to tell me what had been left undone. I spoke with the service again and scheduled additional time to have the house finished, which by the way had now grown into FOUR additional hours - Ok, I dont have time to haggle, just get the job done!! They returned a couple days later to "finish" the job, and needless to say, it was not completed. They half assed EVERY part of the cleaning. They did not clean underneath or on the sides of the appliances, the fire place was left dirty and the surrounding areas, the baseboards and floors were not done, the outside of the cabinets in the kitchen were sticky, she left a ring in one of the toilets - which the landlord poured some bleach in and came right out, the vanities in the bathrooms were not cleaned off, my landlord found jewelry and pennies on the floors around the vanities in two different bathrooms - so clearly NOT DONE, there was hair found on one of the toilets and on the shower wall, the stairs were dirty, seriously the list goes on. I called and left a voicemail to have my call returned as this was absolutely unacceptable. I received a call back from the service and was met with rude and accusatory attitude. I was told that it took them three hours to clean the windows....NOPE sorry lady, I don't think so. She said that she saw pictures and everything looks clean to her. She then went on to state that I should talk to the landlord because she was there doing work while her cleaners were there and that they had to keep going back around behind her........I'm sorry but the LIST of things not done were not contributed to by the landlord. So the excuse for not getting the house done in the time that was said was needed, even after it was book for additional time, is because it took three hours to clean windows and the landlord was on the property?? Scheduled with them using their online scheduler. Received confirmation of the cleaning day. They canceled on us after confirmation with less then 48 hours notice. Since this was a move out clean, scheduled at the end of the month, with carpet cleaners scheduled to come the next day it was impossibly inconvenient because of the weekend, the holiday, the end of the month etc. They gave me a blah blah story about a family emergency via voicemail as the reason they couldn't make it. When I spoke to them by phone they blamed the holiday availability ..so which lie was it that you canceled at the last minute? A service that isn't dependable isn't a service. read more

I received reminder emails and an email afterwards to make sure my experience was great. I really appreciated they wanted to check in with me afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. I just recently hired house cleaners for the first time over the past year. I have 3 dogs and 3 kids and just couldn't keep up. While she was nice, she lacked professionalism. First she showed up about 30 minutes early. She came in smelling of cigarettes, used our vacuum because she forgot her attachments and then at the end of the service I wanted to tip her with my credit card (as that was presented to me as an option at the time of booking). She said she doesn't know if she would even see that tip because she's never seen it like that. I didn't have any cash, so I sent her a Venmo. She said this way she can be sure that she gets her tip. That seemed weird that she would doubt her own company to pay her out her portion of tips. There were many areas of the house that were missed: banisters, fireplace, top of the shower, windows, tops of the TVs, floating shelves above the couch, there were still some papers that got knocked under the dresser that wasn't picked up (not all the way in the back--it can still be seen when standing in front of the dresser), the sides of the bathroom sink (my boyfriend took a q tip to it and cleaned it up), and the sliding glass door. I read all the emails prior to the cleaning so I understand that no refunds would be given unless they came back to do another cleaning but I had company coming over so obviously I wouldn't want a cleaning lady here. Only an apology and no other options were presented to make up for the areas that were missed during the cleaning (aside from the re-clean, which was not really an option for me).
