We blew out a tire on SnoQ summit. Our car had after market wheels and tapered lug nuts that could not be removed. We called Cascade Towing, based off of being on Yelp and closest to where we were broke down. They were prompt, 45 minutes to site as they had communicated. Very nice gentleman, very nice flat bed truck arrived. He used power tools to get the lug nuts off and we were on our way within twenty minutes. The price was fair at $185. Update to my previous review. I broke down on Saturday and Robert quickly picked up me and my truck. I live 3 miles from Easton, WA and figured I'd let Robert fix my truck instead of waiting weeks for a Whidbey Island mechanic to even look at it. On Monday he ordered the parts (a complete rear axle), parts came in Tuesday and the job was wrapped up Wednesday. I picked it up today (Friday) and the truck ran perfectly. If you are in the unfortunate position of needing roadside assistance on the east side of Snoqualmie Pass I highly recommend you call Cascade Towing. We had a tire fail flat in the construction zone just west of Easton. We called Cascade Towing and Levi responded professionally and promptly. We were very impressed with his attention to safety as we were in a very dangerous place for changing a tire because of the road construction. Levi arranged for the Washington State Patrol to arrive with him to warn traffic and move them out of the right hand lane so he could safely load us up on his tow truck. Levi hauled us the short distance to his shop where he replaced our flat with our spare (one of those tiny fake tires that come with all newer cars). The charge for all of this was very reasonable; $225 including tax. read more

Hubby was coming home over the pass and the car shut down on the highway by Tinkham exit. They closed the pass again by North Bend. Every tow company I called turned me down except for Cascade Tow they called state patrol and are going out to help him Above and beyond and so grateful. I used this towing service back in August, it's November now and I'm still upset about it so I'm leaving a review. When I got back to my car from exploring up around Lake Kachess, it wouldn't start. I am a AAA member so I called them and they said they were too busy and couldn't help so they referred me to someone else, who was also too busy, who then referred me to Cascade Towing. The guy was very friendly and personable, he said he would be there in 30 min, and I was stoked! It's about 3 PM at this point. 30 min passed and he called me to say he would be another 45 min, but if I had a ride and I wanted to leave that was great and he would pick up my car and meet me at the mechanic shop where he was going to drop it off. Ok, no problem. So my ride and I get out to the highway and realize I-90 is shut down for construction and there are hours and hours of traffic (I needed a tow to ellensburg). I called the guy back and said that there is way too much traffic and told him he could pick my car up the following day to avoid the wait. He insisted it wasn't a problem and said he would get it done today. I said ok. Fast forward to 9 PM and he's dropping my car off at the mechanic and charged me almost $800 for 4 hours of his time (when it would normally take about 1 hour 10 minutes to drive from where I was stuck to the mechanic shop). He also mentions, "it's funny, because when I got there and winched your car up onto my trailer, it fired right up." He never called me to tell me my car was running at the exact location I left it, and insisted on sitting in traffic so he could up my bill. On top of all this, I called and texted the guy 3 times to get a hand written copy of my receipt so I could file a reimbursement from AAA. He never returned my calls or got back to me and my reimbursement was denied. I'm out over $750 and my car was running just fine when I got to the shop that night. Also, I'm a grad student!!! I make $900 a month minus taxes. I got no grace from him, so I'm not giving any grace in this review. read more

I was stuck by lake Kachess where I couldn't get any cell coverage. They came up the side of the mountain and not only pulled me out of the ditch, but another group as well. It maybe took them an hour to get there (and I was in a remote area.) They didn't charge me an arm and a leg, either. Very grateful for their help, and not letting this idiot feel too bad for getting his car stuck in a ditch. read more

We were on our way from Seattle to Prosser, WA for a 5 day vacation when the unthinkable happened. Our truck overheated. It was a Sunday and we had just stopped at Snoqualmie Summit. I noticed the coolant was low and we bought a gallon of it to refill the reservoir for a whopping $20.00 at The Summit's version of the Kwik-E-Mart. Thanks a lot, Apu! We started out again and at mile post 60, the engine light came on, the temperature was past the Hell mark, and I pulled over and searched for any towing company hoping they would be open on a Sunday. I saw Cascade Towing at Easton on my Droid and called. A man answered and said someone would get out to us in about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, we saw a cascade tow truck and the driver, Debbie, gave us a wave. She expertly hooked up and lifted our truck onto an impressive flatbed tow truck and proceeded to haul us to the nearest restroom available. On the way, she gave us invaluable recommendations for a mechanic in Cle Elum that was right across the street from a decent hotel (see my review on Cliff's Auto Repair. She even recommended places to eat and have coffee there. Now, that is what I call customer service at its best! Thanks to Debbie's expert towing skills and great recommendations, we were back on the road by noon the following day. If you ever get stranded and you are within 30 minutes or so from Easton, my beloved and I highly recommend Cascade Towing and Auto Repair in Easton, WA. read more

My fiance and I got caught in a flash snowstorm over Snoqualmie that even the DOT hadn't anticipated. We had carefully checked the pass reports, which stated "bare and wet" roads with no restrictions. As we started up the pass (from North Bend toward Ellensburg), it began to rain, then to snow. Within minutes, the road was so bad we could not continue. My fiance pushed us through several inches of snow to the summit. The folks at the hotel were not very helpful and the hotel itself was booked. We called several towing companies, and after being treated rudely, finally we called Cascade Towing. The gentleman who helped us (sorry, I didn't get his name) was very understanding and patient. Though he was extremely busy with cars that had slid off the road, he loaded up our car and took us to safety. We went from possibly having to sleep in the car to safety and security all due to the helpful guy at Cascade Towing. He kept reassuring us all the way down the pass and we were able to get home that night rather than being trapped in our car. Thanks! read more
