It's a cute little house, with open concept floorplan so it feels larger than it is...three large bedrooms, fully stocked bathroom, labeled kitchen with all the cooking utensils, large capacity washer and dryer, nice 2 car garage and a fenced back yard. The host was amazing. The fan over the stove went out so we called Steve and he had it replaced quickly. It's located within 15 minutes of restaurants, gas stations, grocery and even a post office. I was very happy here and would stay here again... not to mention recommending it to everyone.

When the attendants and conductors on passenger trains complain that "there will be long stretches of travel at no more than 15mph because the tracks are in need of repair" it makes me pity anyone or any company that relies on faulty shared equipment. When there is weather that messes with the safety of your tracks, slowing your freight AND Amtrak's paying customers (who have lives outside the railroad), clean it up! And not as the last task of the day! Yes, a freighter can slow down or tip on the tracks, and, yes, it's going to mess up your schedule. But a higher priority is the health of the real-life humans you share the road with. A 6-hour delay is unacceptable news from UP excavators. I was stressed about this because I knew they needed to eat for their tournament. With the help of Diego and Kenny the kids were able to get access to some food even at the butt crack of dawn! The man who checked us in was unfriendly, and I don't think anyone actually works there at night. The doors are open to let anyone come in and out, but there was no one at the desk, even when we stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to come out. Coming back late from a concert we had taken our key card but forgotten our room number - oops! We figured we could just show ID at the desk and they'd let us know, but no one came out. Eventually we went to where we thought it was and thankfully we were right. But imagine that anyone can wander in off the street and gain access to all floors. Not safe. Once we got back to our room, we found that while we were out the air conditioning stopped working and it was very hot. The thermostat was reading "ERR" and the phones weren't working. Going back downstairs, we couldn't find anyone for the next 20 minutes. My husband came back upstairs and fixed it himself. The remote control for the television wasn't working, but we had no one to ask for help. We used our cell number to call the front desk number and the person who answered told us to talk to people at the front desk at 9:30 a.m. The next morning my husband went down to talk about the hiccups we had the night before. The explanation they gave us was that no one was in the office because they were getting the continental breakfast ready for the next morning. They offered to take $20 off the bill for our troubles and when we got our invoice mailed, guess what they didn't do?

I rent cars often and I just had my best ever rental car experience at this location. For pick up I…read morearrived 30 min before they opened because I didn't look up their hours. There's was another person waiting outside as well. Rather than making us sit there until opening, they checked into to see which vehicle class we had booked so they could ensure they had one clean and ready to go. They were even able to get us out the door a few min before opening. When I returned the vehicle 2 days later, a customer was on the lobby coming unhinged. She was trying to get a renatl through her insurance company who was not answering the phone. She was insistent that the Enterprise staff should be the ones to call her insurance and book her car. She was attempting to involve every staff member in her meltdown while others were waiting to be helped. Throughout it all the staff remained calm and kind, and managed to multitask and help the rest of us while still making her feel taken care of. I watched them go above and beyond for her, and while she did not seem to notice the rest of us did. Incredible staff and service, all of our future rentals in PDX will be done here!
