But amazing Get the gelato when you are there. Order one scoop dark chocolate and one scoop sea salt. You will not be disappointed! I saw someone complain about a male server? I've never had a male server but every one of the females are on it! One has the most vivacious personality and the others are friendly and quick. We have eaten there many times. Various times of the day. Sometimes it's not AS "speedy", but the best part is watching the pizza be prepared and brick oven baked. Soooo good & entertaining. I do want to day my friend who has gluten intolerance a CAN eat their crust!!! We were told the flour is brought in from Italy so it's not the same as most pizza crust in the area. Would I say "GF", no. But I'm just saying she had no reaction from the pizza! Just enjoyed it very much. We always bring our friends with us when they visit town so they can experience our local business. The red wines have been nice and desserts always decent if you are still hungry after the pizza.

The pizza also had black olives, marinated artichokes and mushrooms and was the perfect ingredients for me and just the right amount of char on the pie that's expected of wood fired pies and how pizzas in Naples, Italy are served that I've had a few there and throughout Italy. The restaurant has a bright interior and the service was very welcoming and friendly. I'll want to go back next time I go through Cape Girardeau.

Here is an Imo's St Louis Pizza franchise and while in St Louis not everyone is like this. they do have the traditional kind of pizzas around the gateway too but they also have one that is unique to them and that's called the St Louis style pizza What is St Louis style pizza versus traditional well it looks almost the same however is a paper thin cracker like crust. And what makes it very interesting to only St Louis as they use a cheese that's only available near there called Provel processed cheese. Provo cheese is like a borderline sort of American cheese. The cracker like crust also does not use yeast in their dough. When you read reviews for Imos it does take some people by surprise some people like... that pizza was crap this pizza was delicious it is an acquired taste I have found through the years. I hadn't really wanted pizza tonight I really wanted pasta but the problem is they don't have a meatless marinara and their meat sauce and Imo's is very heavily onion and I don't like a whole lot of onion. So I opted to get to St Louis style sausage pizza. I went with the 10-in which was perfect for me it tasted all right it was what I remembered a few years ago it wasn't like your traditional mozzarella gooey cheese but it was what it was and it's not my favorite but it's not the end of the world either. You have to really want to have it if you've never had it before or you really love it. For me the acquired taste is definitely there as soon as I bit into it. it's like oh yeah there it is I remember this it's been a while but. So this small little franchise here in the Rhodes travel center it's just straight across the board it shares space with the rest of the truck stop and a whole lot more but the quality of the pizza it was hot it was cooked fresh and for what it was it was good.
