Quite a haul from Rochester but absolutely delicious pizza. (10/5 stars for food, 4/5 stars for…read morelocation and limitations I will describe.) They make their own unique veggie 'sausage' with a kick (unexpected in MN and appreciated as a non meat eater!) and ingredients seem very fresh. I have made the trek back multiple times and even in the off-season, my partner and my dad are still talking about it! It is all outdoors and the tables scattered around get filled quickly, expect to eat picnic style unless you get there early. There is space to roam/ play (bring a ball, frisbee, etc) and a walking trail. I have not attended their events/ shows or shopped there but I have seen they have a variety of activities advertised if that's your thing. Tips: *Arrive early - they do sell out of pizzas *Bring cash (as of the time of this review) *Bring drinks and appies because the pizzas take a while to cook (1h +/- 15m in my experience) *Plan to haul in/ haul out whatever you bring *Expect to lose cell service (remember those last few turns if you usually rely on maps and pre-plan a meeting spot if you're driving separately from the rest of your group)

The vegetarian sausage was very good. Bring your own garbage bag, plates, beverages and some extra chairs. They have picnic tables but most were taken when we got there around 5:30. Get there early to place your pizza orders! We got into line around 5:30, ordered at 6 and received our pizzas around 6:45. It was a perfect place to relax, visit, and enjoy the beautiful scenery so we didn't mind the wait. There isn't cell phone service so make sure you communicate anything you need to before you arrive. We will definitely be back!

My parents like Rosati's Pizza, so they brought me here when I came to visit them. I haven't had…read moregood Chicago Style Pizza in a long time, and in Austin we don't really have anything here anymore that comes close. Overall we had a really good experience here, the pizza was very good and tasted great. It's a small footprint, limited seating, probably has 4-5 tables, plus a couple of outside tables, and bench seating along the windows. If you are a new customer you can join their rewards program and get 10% off your first purchase, so we got the large Chicago Style Pizza with Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers. My dad said the double dough pizza is really good too. They bring the pizza out piping hot in the cardboard box, and it was superb. They don't skimp on the cheese here that's for sure. I would have liked a little more sauce with my pizza. But the taste was superb and quality was very good. Crust was flavorful, you will want to eat it all - maybe dip it in garlic butter or some red sauce. The large was plenty for 3 of us as we had about 3 large slices left over to take home. They do specials here, today was a pasta special but we were set on the pizza which was good enough. I gave them 5-stars because the food was really good and the service was helpful and attentive. I think they could tweak a couple of things to make it better - - for example we wanted ice water but they do not have an ice machine (huh?). So we got lukewarm tap water from their sink. Tasted fine, but I think an ice machine would be nice added touch. I think maybe they want you to buy the bottled water. Also - I think when they serve pizza in-house, they should serve it on a platter, and then when there are leftovers to give the customer the right-sized (smaller) box. We only had 3 pieces left yet had to take the very large box home which doesn't fit in the fridge. Plus it's waste and over utilization. We could have gotten smaller to-go boxes, that way it's a win win for everyone. But overall we were very happy with our meal here. I would definitely come back, and I wish I had more time to try their double dough pizza as my dad said he really likes it. The Chicago Pizza here was really good and it's always good to carb up especially when it gets cold up there in Minnesota.

Since I stopped shopping at Subway, I have been buying Sub sandwiches at Caseys. All in all the…read moresandwiches have been quite good. Unfortunately, the service is what has been iffy. On 1-25-20 I stopped in to get two sandwiches. There were two guys back around the pizza building counter when I approached the ordering counter. The one asked me what I wanted and I told him. He didn't know what I was talking about so I literally read off the menu the name of the sandwich and the ingredients. Come to find out he was fairly new, so I will forgive him that. What's not really forgivable is the fact that he did not change the gloves he was already wearing when he started making my sandwiches. The other guy finished up a pizza order and then came over to start cutting up ingredients for the sandwich counter. After leaving the pizza area he didn't change his gloves either before he started handling sandwich ingredients. Then he started coughing. I don't know if it was a cold cough or a tickle in his throat cough, but either way, he never covered his mouth. He eventually came out around the counter to get something to drink from the fountain dispenser and then went back behind the counter. He never took off his gloves. Never washed his hands. At that point I was really tempted to say forget the sandwiches and walk out, but I was hungry and wanted my supper. That choice was my mistake. The guy making my sandwiches just needs some more training in that area, but both men REALLY need some sanitary training. I have had other employees make me sandwiches there that were very good at their jobs. So I know it's possible. Somewhere somebody is dropping the ball in the training department.
