I love this place! When I lived here, I would venture here several times a week for the "flavor of the day", and sometimes for a snak pak. Now, it's a rare treat when I'm visiting the area. On recent visits, they had twix mix - swirl custard with twix candy mixed in and brownie batter overload. It's still cheap and oh so good! I've had a good amount of frozen custard over the years and culvers ranks near the top of the list for it's smooth and uber creamy consistency. While I mostly come for the custard, the butterburgers are pretty good too. They're right up there with In-n-Out and Shake Shack. I look forward to my next dish of custard! read more

I figured the first time was a fluke, so I tried again today. Yuck. Over cooked again and at least 5 stuck completely together. I go here on occasion for a bacon cheddar butter burger and some custard. I actually went through the drive through once with my dog and they gave her a small cup of vanilla. Not fancy, but always clean, the service is friendly, and the food is always top-notch. I've been enjoying their foods for about twenty years now...pretty much as long as they've been open. Everything I've ever ordered has been very good to great. Never been disappointed, whether it's been the Butter Burgers, the fries, the cole slaw (best cole slaw in town), the sundaes, the dinners. Everything...always good stuff. Tonight I tried something different, and went with the 10-piece Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp dinner. Came with two sides (I chose fries and cole slaw), and it was great. Restaurants don't seem to have shrimp dinners as much as in the past, so I'm happy Culvers has this, and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely order it again. But...OK...nothing is perfect. There were supposed to be ten shrimps, but only got nine. Ehhhh..OK...they were so good, I'm not going to complain. this is one of the few Culver's around that you can actually get a Walleye sandwich at....yes walleye not Cod....isn't that fabulous???? This location was the first and most frequented Culvers by me as it was really close to my work and I seemed to like to go thru the drive-thru on cold winter days. I like that I could order a grilled cheese with extra pickle for cheap and once in awhile they may have had an okay soup. They do have mashed potatoes but the "gravy" is questionable and is like watered down cream of chicken soup and the potatoes are obviously instant so I would stick with cheese curds or fries but I don't think the fries are any good either...basically get your walleye on or a mushroom swiss butter burger and some chocolate custard.... read more

I just love Culvers restaurants. They always have good food, good service, a great atmosphere and reasonable prices. I have to say, I am very impressed with this location. It is very well managed and the employees are very courteous. I have eaten here numerous times and not once did I have anything to complain about. I especially appreciate how the place is always clean. The tile floor is always clean, or there is somebody mopping it, and the bathrooms are always spotless.
