I originally went into this shop last week and purchased two rings; the first was appraised…read more($1800+) and the second didn't come with an appraisal. I was shown the appraisal and did think the ring was beautiful. I tried the ring on and while it was big, it did fit. That afternoon, I brought the ring into People's to have it sized. After shipped out, I was informed that the quality of ring I purchased was NOT as promised. The prongs and the support -- were complete garbage (with NO indication of this at time of purchase). To make matters worse, they stated they couldn't complete the sizing as it would sacrifice the integrity of the ring (which would cause me to lose my diamond.) I called the manager and spoke to him; he accused People's of lying -- stating there was nothing wrong with the ring. I told him that they lost out on a sale because they couldn't size it. He then told me that I should have told the customer service rep and SHE could have had it resized (which again, would STILL compromise the QUALITY of the ring and I would lose my diamond). I told him again that I just wanted my money back as OBVIOUSLY there would have been no way of knowing this prior to purchase without disclosure. He told me no. I told him that legally, I purchased something under a certain specification. One would EXPECT that an appraised ring (done by HIS jeweler) would have noticed such damage... but he told me that their jeweler doesn't check that? Um pardon? His solution was to simply bring the ring into HIS shop and HIS jeweler (the same one who didn't know to check the prongs and support) would resize it for a "small fee". Like I'd trust a company who LIED about the quality to resize it without further damaging it. Now I am left with a broken ring. This place OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about the quality of their products NOR their customers. It's a shame because what was once a wonderful experience, turned into complete crap. BUYER BEWARE!! I will be sharing this with the various Facebook groups I am in, my social media feeds, eBay (which they are apart of) and all review websites so no one else gets burned like I did. I just want a refund of the one appraised ring as it was NOT the quality promised... I suppose they have until March 19th, 2016 to comply or I will be seeking legal action.

Normally, visiting the bank is kind of an annoying task. I don't mean for this review to sound like…read morestopping in at TD changed my life and made me a better person, but I do always leave here in a better mood than when I went in. AT A BANK, people. I've never had to wait at this location and the tellers are always crazy friendly. When they ask me if there's anything else they can do for me today, I actually feel like they mean it. Is there? I don't think so, but sure, we can hang out for a minute. I'm almost obnoxiously glad I decided to bank with TD since I started coming to this location. So, if you're looking for a bank -- this place is just about as good as it gets. Make sure to check in with one of their personal bankers to see what kind of account is the best fit for you. I ended up getting six months of free super crazy platinum banking (which I absolutely did not need) and at the end of the promotion the staff talked me down to a plan that was more my speed and less Warren Buffett's. The only minor downside to this location is the parking lot, which is reminiscent of a monster truck rally, especially when the snow obscures the space lines. It's a bit of a free-for-all, but you can avoid it by stopping in at off hours. I'll keep risking it as long as the staff here continues to make my monotonous errands a little brighter.

My back being against the wall and also me being upset with the whole unprofessional practices I agreed to a payday 5th October today is the 11th October I have yet to receive the funds.Nishita Malhotra is definitely a liar and I now question what they do with your collected information.I strongly you do not do business with this company! I normally do not write reviews but this was an eye opener no funds and my credit score dropped!!

I have a Scotiabank account in Canada and tried for one month and 6 days to transfer some money…read morefrom my account in Guelph. I literally talked to about 15 people and no one was able to help me transfer some money to Nevada. Horrible customer service and I would give them no stars if I could. I do not recommend anyone moving to the States from Canada to keep money in Scotiabank. If I had realized how hard it was to get my money, I would have taken it all out before I moved here. CIBC is a good bank with no problems.
