Austin's associate (José) was attentive and professional and assured me that my ring would be well taken care of and returned to me in perfect condition as I was understandably a little nervous about leaving my ring to get resized by a jeweler other than the original jeweler. Austin's did a wonderful job; my ring was returned in perfect condition and now fits perfectly. I also received my ring back within a reasonable time frame (only 5 days) as I was also concerned that I might have to leave my ring there for 10-14 days. I can't recommend Austin's highly enough. They also seem to have a beautiful selection of unique jewelry, if you're looking for something more than a ring resize.

Actually it has been the only negative experience that I have had with this retailer. I made an online purchase on May 7th at 2:00pm. The order was an in-store pick up. Once I payed for my order I received an email stating that my order would be ready for pick up in 6-8 hours. I decided to wait until the next day. To allow the store some extra time to work on having my order ready. I arrived at the store at 11:50am. I spoke with the employee manning the door. I mentioned that I was there for an order pick up. She mentioned that I had to get in line with everyone that was there for purchases. I mentioned that my order was already paid for. She then said that the store was short staffed and that the person responsible for completing in store pick ups was not available, and that I needed to do the line, since she couldn't warranty that the items that I had paid for were even available. I made the hour long line. Once inside, I explained everything to the employee that was helping me, she was able to retrieve the items that I was interested in and had purchased online.  Then she informed me that I had to pay for these items. I showed the employee proof of purchase and the order number. She insisted that I had to pay again because this was a separate purchase. I told her that I didn't understand why I had to pay for the exact same items that I had already purchased online. I was supposed to only pick up my order. She then proceeded to call a manager, I'm assuming she didn't understand why either. Since she couldn't explain it herself. The manager insisted that if I wanted to take the items I had to pay for them again. Because she didn't have the personnel or the time to process the online orders. I mentioned that I could understand the overwhelming amount of online orders that they might have been receiving, since it was mother's day weekend. But that their website clearly advertises a 6-8 hour window for in store pick ups. That if I had been explained the situation I would've abstained from making a purchase.  Bottom line, the only option that I was given was to pay for the items, again. Or to leave emptyhanded after having already paid. I decided to pay again. The manager mentioned that she would cancel and refund my money from the online purchase. May 10th, I am still waiting for her to to fulfill her word. I am dissatisfied and frustrated with the poor customer service that I received at this location.

I had previously taken them to a local jeweler and they did not have the right tools to open the Guccis- one of my watches now has a scratched backing. Since Deutsch & Deutsch are fine watch makers, I knew they would take care of my watches. When I stepped inside the store, I was greeted by an armed guard and the staff. They carefully labeled all my timepieces and took photos of them so I would be assured I was getting the same items back when I returned (the watchmaker was not in on this day). I was impressed. I looked around the store and saw many things Santa needs to bring me- I have been a very good girl! They have watches by TAG, Rolex, Cartier, MontBlanc and Hublot, as well as an array of very nice jewelry. Tucked away in the corner is a section devoted to MontBlanc pens, cases and other items - I saw a really nice high tech notepad that transfers whatever you draw or write on it to your smartphone as it was hand drawn! Very cool! Academia says that if you are in a Masters Degree program or higher and you are writing a thesis, you should be gifted with a MontBlanc pen upon graduation. My brother got one...I did not (my father had just passed away so no one was thinking). Not to worry, I am blessed with many friends who got together and gave me a beautiful MontBlanc as a gift!!!! Yes, these beautiful pens are amazingly crafted using precious materials; they easily become something that you want more than one of. Today I purchased a second pen for myself and I cannot explain the feeling you get from having and using daily such a nice writing instrument. With daily writing comes the need for ink- I love the fine liner in Bold. It is like writing with a very fine pointed sharpie, but I bought an assortment of ink types and colors today. If you are in need of a nice gift for someone special, this is the place.

Picked out 2 items…read more When checking out with the salesman, a lady started to argue with him about the price, which was clearly marked (and marked down on sale, meaning that it hadn't sold at the original price) since in her opinion it wasn't priced high enough, she insisted that I would have to talk to the manager the following day. I fly out today so that was impossible. Bottom line, totally unethical to try to change prices after a sale. Big mistake!
