You should check out Cash America Pawn in Houma. A friend recommended it when I said I was looking for jewelry. I went yesterday and they had a large assortment of jewelry, iPads, tablets, laptops, flat screen tv's, musical instruments, tools, weapons, and much more. This was my first time in a pawn shop and I was surprised that they even had designer handbags, watches, sunglasses and tennis shoes for sale.If you are looking for jewelry, ask for Kevin. He was personable and helped me choose a beautiful pair of earrings at a great price. I lost my wedding ring set while on vacation. I was devastated. My friend recommended that I go see Kevin at Cash America Pawn in Houma. It's a bit of a drive, but I really needed to find something and he came highly recommended. I went to the store and he showed me an assortment of wedding sets. I told him what I was looking for, and he totally got me. He didn't have the exact set I was looking for, so I bought a gorgeous diamond cocktail ring to get me through until he could find me the ring I was looking for. He called me a couple weeks later and told me about a set that had just become available that was just what I was looking for. I rushed over there and sure enough, it was PERFECT! I feel like I have my own personal jeweler looking out for me. now he has a wish list for me, and he sends me pictures of new items when they they become available. I'm doing all my Christmas shopping with him! (I have 3 daughters who all love jewelry as much as I do) My only regret was that I didn't find him sooner! He has a happy customer for life.
