It was over a month ago when I first approached Elaine Harvey for assistance with my taxes and today, I am still oblivious to where she and her team is in the process. The the low level of customer care and sparse responsiveness to my request for information has been nothing short of appalling. My experience with this agent saw her requesting documents that were already submitted to her and also giving conflicting reports about the status of the filing. She told me by telephone that it was reviewed and submitted weeks ago when in fact it was not yet done. At this point, I lost all trust in her and her team. Two weeks ago, I escalated the matter to a senior manager at the company who promised to get in touch with me about it. I have received no word from either of them and frankly, I do not know what is happening. After conversations with members of my community, I have come to realize that there are others who have had distasteful experiences with this company as well. My Recommendation? Stay far away from this place. Find someone else in the city to help with your taxes if you want good customer service, transparency and timeliness. The Lacewood branch is handily located right of Lacewood Drive so it's perfect for commuters whether they take the bus, walk, or drive. And there is a ton of parking - you're not going to have issues finding somewhere to park here. That being said, it's a pretty standard bank. There was really nothing spectacular about it - easy access to ATMs, lots of tellers to help you out. I never had anything more serious than needing laundry change from them, so I didn't need to really put them to the test.
