Interesting thing is, my old chequeing account still exists and have sufficient fund, also neither the old or the new chequeing account has any record of the request for the fund from pc financial. Now here is the excellent customer service they have - Tried to call them on cs line, no one picks up at all, i had to hang up after 3-3.5hrs of waiting, cuz i ran out of time. Sent them messages in the support center, half of the reply is useless generic responses telling me how to self-serving myself, or to send a support message regarding this issue (which i literally did with my message). The other half is a response of your issue is this, but im not going to tell you it has been indeed resolved. Not mentioning the messaging system would takes days to get a reply. For the cherry on the top. I called the ombudsman of pc financial. It is supposed to be an arbitrator of sort to resolve serious issues. Guess what, no response for a month and half so far. Beware of false advertising!…read more H&R Block advertises a basic charge of $69 in order to complete your income tax. "That's fair," I thought, for my tax return was quite simple - only 2 x T4's and 3 X T3's. So when the individual who completed my return said that I now owe her $230.00, my jaw hit the floor. I immediately asked her about the $69 price that is well advertised everywhere. She informed me that for one T4 it would cost me that, but I had a few more pieces of paper. Two things immediately became glaringly obvious to me: 1. I was not informed beforehand about this ludicrous and exponential increase in charge...sure I could have asked, but when a company advertises something for a price, you expect that deal to be met. And if it is going to be more, the customer should be told straight up before any work is done, and 2. My 4 extra documents caused her about 5 more minutes of work to input those numbers (she did it in front of me). And this caused the price to triple? Amazing! Let this false advertising be a lesson to anyone seeking H&R Block to complete your income tax. I wish I had read my review before I went there! Good luck everyone
