I would give no stars. This company doesn't do thorough checks to see who their handing money out to! I live in another state but they gave money to someone using my social. Wrong birthday but correct social! They don't care! Now I have collections harassing me to get money that I never even borrowed! And corporate does nothing about it. read more

I have been using this location for about a year. They now have new management and new employees. I like to borrow and then pay the full amount off so I don't incur the ridiculous unrest charges. I received a call on Wednesday notifying me that their office will be closed on Friday and that I could come in on Saturday to pay, I told the employee I would be in after I got off. She never let me know they would be closing earlier and thus my card was charged a payment. When I called about the problem after thr first call the manager stopped answering for my number ( he hadn't returned my call in 15 min as he stated) I called in the span of 3 hours maybe 7 times but as soon as I use my app with a different number to call he answers and then proceeds to tell me his employee put down that I said I would be there at 230 which I never said and when I told him he showed no empathy and didn't move to find it our rectify the situation. He was rude and sarcastic and will never visit this location again. This is a review based off the manager at this location and not cash store in itself. Cash store is good but don't use it if u can't pay the money back soon bc those payments add up to a higher amount than what u originally borrowed which I feel isn't worth it. Rant over! read more

UNLESS there are people trying to cash fake checks or fake secret shopper checks or checks made in their basements because those type people are 100% always in line trying their chances that the clerk will not catch on and give them $. So needless to say I've seen a lot of arrest while waiting. I don't like that they buy used or unwanted gift cards . It feeds off one type of person ... drug addicts . It's sad these ppl have a problem and you are helping them . Oh don't get me wrong first you tear that a** apart in the return you give them for the card but you gotta know this is shady af!

This review is for property tax…read more I spent months and months trying to get my home exemption transferred from my old house to my new house. Finally, after 8 months, I got notification of approval from Dallas Central Appraisal, the incompetence of which is a whole other review. I received notification of approval in mid-November, which said the approval certificate would sent to the Dallas County Tax office. I called the Dallas County Tax office the first week of December to inquire whether they had received the certificate. I called because my tax account still showed no exemption had been applied. I was told that no, the certificate had not been received and that CAD only sent certificates once a month. I was told by the team agent that mine would be sent at the end of December and that I should call the tax office in mid-January to check on status. On December 20, I had an itch to see what was going on with my account. Miracles do happen around Christmas time! The approved exemption had been applied and I finally, and I mean finally, could see my accurate tax assessment. Why 1 star? Because I learned that you cannot believe ANYTHING that you are told. I don't think they deliberately lie, I just think there is gross incompetence and no one really knows anything so they just say something whether it is true or not. So, you can call and speak to a polite agent, but don't be fooled into thinking that what you were told is accurate.
