This place is a huge ripoff. Their scales are way off and they don't give you the weight until after they already dumped them off on the conveyer belt. I noticed that they always seem to be light so I went ahead and bought a scale just to compare. I brought 42lbs of cans and they claimed it was only 30lbs. I weighed them before I brought in so I know what it should have been, but no arguing with them. I'd just avoid this place altogether if you are trying to make a few bucks in your pocket. They have small signs that are fourth grader wrote saying you need to take all your bottle caps off your water bottles or bottles in general because it's a safety hazard when it goes in their machine for their guys NONE of their guys have any safety equipment on no safety glasses no gloves no hardhats nothing. I notice these guys are a total rip off, making up stories any little thing to cut your metal price down. Nice size copper wire insulated there's prices up to 135 a pound. They gave me $.25 per pound insulated wire. Guy makes up the prices as a go so be careful for the bait and switch. What are those who don't know what date and switches they'll price it on the wall at one price but they'll give you another one when you get your receipt. Always check your receipt. Took my business elsewhere... I see the people going in there and they're not your typical lotto winners, so I can see them taking advantage of everybody that goes in there. read more

A few customers without masks, they got turned away & had to go back to their cars to get one (lot needs to be a bit more vigilant about it). Very strict recycling center. Only accepts aluminum cans, plastic bottles, certain glass bottles (only beer not other alcoholic beverages), and copper. If you do bring in your plastic bottles, they won't accept them with the caps on. It's such a pain to take them off. Their prices also only makes them competitive if you pick up an advertised coupon in a local Pick-N-Save. Only thing that makes this place good is that they are open on Sundays which is very rare in recycling centers. They are also open certain holidays. Like they were open on Labor Day. read more

I was there around 2:50 pm on April 28. I was in line to recycle & an employee smoking a cigarette cut in front of me with two woman. One of the woman was also smoking a cigarette. There's a sign that says no smoking, no one did anything so I told the woman working at the window, she was very professional and nice. The health department should get involved. I will never recycle here again because this is the 2nd time that rude male employee was smoking that cancer stick. My mother went there yesterday because it's close to her also and she didnt know the guy yelled at her for not taking tops off plastic and try ed to intimidate her when she questioned the weight and called her a pinchi veja to the cashier. My neighbor said that a younger worker yelled at her son when he took up his glass to get weighed because didn't separate dark and clear and didn't even amount to crv. Complete jerks at this place. They picked out all my quart Gatorade and 2-liter soda bottles with missing labels and wanted to only give me a penny for them. Hey, if the bottles have been sitting out in the sun for a long time the labels tend to deteriorate and fall off, I can't help it. I just wanted my dime back that I payed at the store for them. Is that asking too much? Also they only give you a little over six bucks for a barrel full of 200 beer bottles, which should be ten bucks.
