Now I've had interaction with the owner before visiting, even purchasing some of the lavender rooibos tea with mint (one cup in the evening and you are ready for bed!). But to go there is an experience everyone within a 50 mile radius should know. That afternoon was sunny and free of clouds. The lavender, basil, and sunflowers were in bloom. Tomatoes were close behind. "Peaceful" doesn't even begin to describe my time walking around the property. It was like a day at the spa, minus the terrycloth robe. There are plenty of chairs/benches to have a seat, including some around a fire pit (for the cooler evenings). Though I expected all of this on some level, my amazement grew as I entered their shop. You thought the lavender was strong outside, but then you enter an enclosed space. Lavender batches drying along the wall, lavender candles, bath salts, lip balm, even infused in spices (such as salt, rubs for meat). I left that day with a carpet powder and linen spray. And I plan to return for more in the near future.

Charging an extra $1.00 fee on top of a $20.97 purchase is an outrageous 4.76% surcharge and it was done without a single word of verbal or written warning.When I confronted the female cashier/owner about this unauthorized charge, she treated me with absolute condescension, pointing aggressively at a sign that says "No AmEx" as if I didn't know how to read. A "No AmEx" sign is NOT a legal disclosure for a debit card transaction fee, and she knew exactly what she was doing. To make matters worse, a man who was with her immediately stepped up to me in a clear and uncomfortable attempt at physical intimidation just for questioning the bill.Under the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act (FBPA), it is strictly illegal to hit consumers with deceptive, hidden, and undisclosed fees at checkout.
