Close to downtown, gas stations, food etc. The whiskey butter restaurant was awesome! All the people that worked here were very accommodating and nice. We asked for towels they gave them. We asked for an extra key they gave it. We asked if we could go in the pool while the robot was cleaning it and they took it out for us. The continental breakfast was pretty good as well. I asked for a couple of hand towels, never came. 1 hand towel for a room that sleeps 4.This experience right here is why I dont travel. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. They supposedly are fully booked and have no other room to move us to. I will never come back here and suggest you don't either. And here's the capper to this nightmare. They never refunded me half of what the room cost as they said they would.

The tour guide was dressed in regular clothing and there was no information given about the Oregon Trail. I was thinking maybe our trail guide is not a regular guide. It seemed like the owner just wanted the money and grabbed a person to steer the wagon. He also was hard of hearing (nothing wrong with that), but it meant when my kids asked questions he could not hear. So it was like a two hour silent ride. I would say skip this if you are in Casper. Do the free museum in town instead.

He and David took us on an amazing wagon train ride, and with all of his knowledge and great stories we could visualize life on the trail back then. I let Rick know which of the 4 vehicles in the fleet I wanted, and what I had in mind, which was a simple 4 stop transfer and he quoted me a reasonable fee. I paid by cc over the phone. The next day Rick was quick to send a text with the driver's name and phone number. He also let me know that the driver (Darian) would be contacting me when he was on his way. I have ridden in a Limo a handful of times, and this was by far the BEST experience! Our driver, Darian is EXTREMELY professional, every step of the way. He sent me a few texts updating me on his progress to my pick-up, because of an accident, there was a small delay. I felt he didn't have to let me know this; however, I appreciated the courtesy. Once he arrived; Darian apologized profusely for the delay which over-all was only 3 minutes. Not a big deal in my mind. He ALWAYS opened the door and even gave instructions for connecting to the Bluetooth radio. As this was an airport pick-up, I had made a poster-board sign with my friends' name and queried Darian if it was out-of-bounds to ask that he head into the airport to locate my friend. He had absolutely no problem with this. Darian was a COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL all the way. Always at the ready, always standing by. The store is rather small but does offer all the essential one might need while on the road. Hot food and ice cream is also available as well as a small picnic area to relax. And for you fishermen there's also fish and tackle equipment sold here. Restrooms facilities are available and clean. There is a small gas station on-site should you need. Should you find yourself in this part of town and in need of snacks, fuel or a restroom break this is the spot.

While the gas tank was filling up, we used the restrooms and checked out the general store. Restroom was clean for the Men! This friendly general store sold ice cream!! Yes!! They sell Cascade Glacier ice cream brand, and both my wife and I each purchased a couple of scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone. We were both happy with our choices. She with her Blackberry Cobbler, and I with my Wild Huckleberry!! Sloanes General Store made for a terrific pit stop along this highway in Wyoming! A welcome sight!!

I spoke with Kyler and explained our situation. He charged a flat fee for the transportation and was at the Casper airport within 10 minutes. He was able to accommodate my family of three and handled our needs with the utmost respect and compassion. I had an elderly mother with me, and he made her feel very comfortable and assisted with her luggage and the rest of ours too. He talked to us along our route, telling us a bit about the area and what restaurants or locations were close to our hotel. Which was helpful since we didn't know the area. He also guaranteed he would be there to pick us up at 5:00am. NO OTHER company does this. He woke up early just to accommodate our schedule and the time we needed to be back to the airport. He REALLY made a difficult situation feel much more relaxed and less worrisome on our part. Thank you SO much Kyler for your time and for all you did for my family and I.
