The staff was kind and friendly at check in and created me with a bottled water. Out room was large and clean and the shower was spacious and clean and loaded with fresh towels and quality soaps and shampoo and conditioner. The fitness center had all the necessary free weights and cable machines for me to get a complete work out and afterwards I soaked my muscles in a whirlpool thing the had that was warm and relaxing. Awesome. The free breakfast was loaded with options- eggs, omelets, oatmeal, bagels, cereal waffles, muffins, mall kinds of yummy fresh stuff. The hotel is also conveniently located next to a highway and just a minute from all the shopping a traveler needs. I love these hotels and this one was no exception, I will definitely stay here again.

Check in was quick and easy, and the person at the front desk was great. She was quick to offer restaurant recommendations and always had a smile. The room was great. Cool air and hot showers! Even better, it was CLEAN. The location is near a number of restaurants and shopping, although, to be honest, it's not a huge town. The snack area was well stocked , and the continental breakfast seemed fresh and stocked as well. No issues recommending this location and would stay here again for sure.

Moonlight Liquors: Where the Drinks Are Cheap, and the Chaos Is Free…read more If you're looking for a dive bar with all the charm of a back-alley brawl and the customer service of an overworked prison warden, look no further than Moonlight Liquors. Tucked away in a dimly lit corner of town, this place offers an experience that's less "laid-back watering hole" and more "lawless frontier saloon." The night started off simple enough--cheap drinks, a questionable jukebox selection, and a clientele that looked like they'd been living off whiskey and spite for the better part of a decade. But it didn't take long before things took a turn. Enter two local scholars, fueled by whatever toxic mix was sloshing in their cups, who decided they had a bone to pick with us. What started as typical drunk posturing escalated quickly into outright hostility, featuring the kind of language that makes you question both their intelligence and their ability to exist in polite society. And here's where the true magic of Moonlight Liquors really shines--rather than stepping in to de-escalate the situation, the bartenders, who were clearly best pals with the local goons, decided we were the problem. Never mind that we were simply trying to enjoy our drinks in peace. Never mind that we were the ones being harassed. Nope, the moment their friends started throwing out threats, the staff flipped the script and turned their misplaced rage toward us. What followed was a masterclass in unhinged customer service. The bartenders, possibly channeling their inner banshees, unleashed a verbal assault that could peel paint off the walls. Screaming, pointing, full-blown psychotic breakdown mode--all aimed at us for the apparent crime of existing. Then, as if we hadn't already gotten the message that we weren't welcome in their little fever dream of a bar, we were unceremoniously kicked out into the night, while their pet troublemakers undoubtedly celebrated their victory with another round of whatever rotgut they were sipping. So, if you enjoy bars where the staff hates you, the regulars are looking for a fight, and the entire establishment feels like a failed social experiment--Moonlight Liquors is your spot. Otherwise, save yourself the headache and drink literally anywhere else. Rating: 0/5 stars - Would rather drink tap water in a gas station bathroom.

We go to Casper for the Casper dog show in July and this is our first choice for our hotel. First and foremost it is absolutely pet friendly. For us the hotel that is not pet friendly might as well not exist. We are only on the road because of the dogs and dog events so if our dogs are not allowed we will not darken the door. Second, I have not found the problems mentioned by many of the reviews of this hotel. For us the place is clean. The AC works just fine. When the AC quit they fixed it within two hours. If anything the AC is so powerful I keep having to turn it down. There is a delightful bar good food and a precious outdoor patio. There are flowers everywhere and the vistas are beautiful. For all of these reasons I recommend the hotel. But there are some other things about this hotel that no one has mentioned in the reviews I saw. First among these is the artwork. Someone with extraordinary and subtle taste, a keen ability to see something beautiful in the everyday reality of western life that is something that is reflected in the artwork. The artwork is another one of the main reasons we stay in this hotel. The Ramkota is not part of a national chain. It is a unique reflection of Wyoming, of Casper, of the west. That uniqueness is captured in the artwork and it's worth staying here for that alone. It is far more interesting than any national chain hotel. I would give this hotel five stars except for the politics. And I really do think that the ownership needs to look carefully at the diversity of its clientele and at the message being sent to its customers. Many of us are coming from outside of Wyoming. Not everybody out there thinks the way Wyoming voters think. Two years ago the floor mats in the lobby were a glorification of the fossil fuel industry. I thought "Wow, That's pretty outdated!" The management caught on and today those floormats are gone. Good for them! That is the kind of change they need to make in order to make the hotel appeal to a broad range of visitors who are not from Wyoming. But this morning at breakfast I was hit in the face with Fox News. I do understand that there are many in Wyoming who prefer and believe Fox News. But outside of Wyoming there are a lot of us who would rather open the day with a news channel that is more neutral and trustworthy. Get rid of Fox News and this would be a five-star hotel!

We stopped just to rest and break up the driving and for the price, i've stayed at MOTELS that were much nicer and at the very least, clean. Trash was left behind on the TV stand, the walls were littered with mystery fluids and stains, and the "do not disturb sign" appeared as though someone drug it through a greasy hamburger and set it aside for us. The shower was dirty enough that the wife did not feel comfortable showering. Staff weren't the friendliest and overall not an impressive experience considering the price.
