I recently had Dr White and his PA Aaron do a complete shoulder replacement for my left shoulder. Two years ago they did my right shoulder. I am really happy with the results and I can use my arm without that terrible pain. I would totally recommend Dr White and Aaron to anyone looking for an orthopedic doctor. I kept calling to schedule surgery for referral but was told they weren't sure if I needed a hip Dr OR THE TRAUMA TEAM@! I'm so very grateful for Dr Smith's care. I had a complicated surgery and I'm pleased with the result. However, my procedure with Dr Smith was my fourth in 5 years on that hip. It's been a long road with other providers. A lot of pain and some time in a wheel chair. As a result, I am pretty fearful of continuing problems. I find the staff to be less than empathetic and at times rude. I always explain that I am afraid. I've returned and called with questions about pain and about limitations and have been met with resistance. I understand it's difficult to have patients who are fearful - but if you feel you should use shame to deal with it, you have missed your calling. There is never a reason for an existing patient to be embarrassed to seek help or ask a question of the doctor. Dr Smith's PA is especially disconnected. The conclusion is that if you need care, I would seek out a different provider. Kindness and empathy is not a priority or even a consideration here. read more

Gigantic, disappointing rant. Casper ortho, WTF was that?? After 2 weeks of sleepless nights, meds not touching the pain, and being told I needed to wait until 12/1 for the MRI I need, my day finally came. I was relieved at the idea of an answer to what put my life to a complete halt as an otherwise healthy 30-year-old. I guess I got my hopes up because they charged me 50 bucks to make eye contact and say they'll call me to book the MRI that they were supposed to be doing at this appointment. I'm sorry, excuse the hell outta me, WHY DID YOU HAVE ME COME IN THEN, IF NOT TO SEE THIS SPECIAL BACK SPECIALIST WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO CONDUCT AND READ MY MRI?? I'm LIVID rn. Waste of time. I've been to see Dr. Craig Smith a couple of times now and he's great! I have complete trust in him and have complete confidence in having him do my hip surgery. The whole staff there is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back there when I'm ready to have my back checked out. read more

A shitshow to say the least - there are two check in stations and the only one manned has the world's slowest human.
