Many places make them way too salty (ex. Costco's, Smokey's...) The cheese curds are heated so hot it melts into the gravy. I would have to say that this is my favorite place for poutine. A large poutine runs $6.50 CAD. A good size to share as a snack with one or two friends. There's plenty of free parking in their private lot. Plenty of covered outdoor seating.

It has the sort of slightly rundown appearance of a place that you would expect to have delicious burgers and fries. I tried the burger and the poutine. The burger was really disappointing. The bun had sort of a weird soft quality like it had been microwaved. The meat wasn't really bound together at all and had a sort of crumbly quality similar to meatloaf. While the tomato was fresh, I had asked for the burger without it. The french fries were decent, but they would have stood up to the gravy better if they had been crispier. The gravy and cheese were salty, delicious, and plentiful.

It's now not the best place to go for a French fry! The service is not bad, they are nice and polite but the food is just not what I remembered! Used to open as soon as the first beautiful day but this year especially, one of the last ones to open! This isn't the greatest for the clientele as they want casse croûte food but if they like dominos but they aren't open, they will find another place and surely they will like it ! It is in a great location as it is near the intersection where the police station is, so all the cottagers heading up the 105 can stop by as it is pretty much on the way!

However, the poutine isn't phenomenal, the prices are a bit high and the hours are short and unpredictable. The fires were crispy, the curds were squeaky and the gravy was delicious.
