    Medium poutine

Devastatingly good poutine. Squeaky as fuck St Alberts cheese curds. Very nice gravy. Excellent fresh cut fries. This might be one of the best, if not THE BEST, poutine in the city. Haven't eaten anything else there but they have a great setup. Gotta give them 5 star Respect for doing what they do so very well. Super friendly, too!!!

Best fry truck poutine in Ottawa. I had the medium sized poutine which was plenty for me cost $8. Cheeseburger $5.50. I've had the poutine many times before it is outstanding. Lots of great cheese curds and gravy. Cheeseburger was pretty good as well. Located in the Canadian tire parking lot. Cash only as aside. I'll be back for sure.

No words can describe my love for the poutine from this place!

Je me fais servir en français. It's also the best poutine in Nepean, bar none. Fresh ingredents and food.

You couldn't buy that amount of cheese curds in a store at the price they sell a poutine for.

I really like their hamburgers and fries here…read more The bunderful burger is messy to eat but it's totally worth the 8 napkins you must continuously wipe your mouth after taking each bite. The fries are so tastey in whatever greasey oil they cook in. This is ultimate comfort food & worth every calorie. If you're still hungry, there are salty peanuts complimentary (sometimes) as well.

I thought that was a little ambitious and figured it would be later. At 5:35 got a text message from DoorDash that the food would be delivered at 5:53, then an update at 5:54 that it would be delivered at 6:02, got the food at 6:07. The receipt indicated that the order was ready at 4:57 and should be delivered by 5:12. The food was ice cold. I understand it would be slow tonight but when I phoned to let them know just how long the food sat in their restaurant the guy I spoke to was dismissive and said 'it's been like that all day. I wouldn't order delivery on a day like today'. Never asked my name or order number. I was hoping for an apology and perhaps an explanation for why the food sat under the heat lamp for so long. What I got was an assurance that I should never order from here again. Thank you. I'll take that advice.

Edo Japan has come such a long way! It's a Canadian chain that sells Japanese food. It was founded…read morein 1979 and started off exclusively in mall food courts mainly just selling chicken and beef teriyaki on white rice. I used to hate it because it was mostly bean sprouts and onions (with some cabbage and carrots) with gristley meat on plain rice. So I avoided Edo for like 20 years, lol. However, recently one of my co-workers bought his lunch from there and it was a noodle bowl and looked delicious. I asked him where it was from and I was shocked when he said Edo Japan. They have totally expanded their menu, have stand alone locations now (of which this is one of them) and their food is pretty good for fast food, just a bit pricey imo. I got the Hawaiian Chicken Bento Box ($13.75). It came with my choice of 2 sides. I got Gyoza and California Rolls. The Hawaiian Chicken is chicken, pineapple, cabbage, broccoli and carrots on a bed of white rice (the menu said mushrooms were included, my meal for some reason did not have mushrooms). I got 2 Gyoza. The filling was ground pork. I got 4 California rolls. I asked for no sesame seeds and they were able to accommodate. The California rolls were grocery store quality sushi, so not that good. The filling was cucumber, avocado and an imitation crab salad (mixed with mayo). No masago. It was pretty flavourless. Gyoza were good. Fried from frozen, but to be expected of fast food joints. The Hawaiian Chicken was fried up to order. It was pretty tasty. I asked for their teriyaki sauce on the side and they gave me so much of it. I'm glad I didn't get the sauce on the food. It would have been way too wet and saucy for me. Service was very friendly and courteous. I'm so glad that I gave Edo Japan another chance. For Japanese fast food, they are pretty good. Obviously not as good as Japanese non-fast food, but you have to take places for what they are. This location is in College Square. It's next to Thai Express. Along the same side as Starbucks and BMO. Lots of free parking.
