I live in Boston, but have a rental in Dover, and after searching in vain in Massachusetts for a landscaping company that will let me shovel gravel or dirt into my car to take away myself, I have come to the realization that it is worth it for me to drive to NH just for this stuff! Great example... I just got about a tenth of a yard of drainage stone, and 0.4 yards of superloam for an above ground garden. If I were to go to a box store or nursery, and get this in bags, it would cost more than $50. All the landscape companies I contacted in MA either required at least a purchase of 4 yards for delivery, or would only sell as little as half a yard, ONLY if you have a truck into which they can dump it. And even if they did let me buy it, the prices would have come to $40. I got the job done through Sherwood for $10, and with some of the friendliest folks I have had the pleasure of working with. I have gone to them several times, and am always impressed and happy that I got to work with them. My only complaint is that they don't have more varieties of rocks/pebbles. But all in all...this is a winner.

I was assured that each segment of Wade Landscaping was unique. People who cut the lawn aren't the people who do the weeding. Landscapers don't do tree work, etc. That turned out not to be the case. After months of a delay in getting started they did come in to complete work on a sinkhole and shed level reset. Guys who did the work were polite, hard working, and did a good job. And contrary to what I was told did some mimimal tree trimming called for under a different quote/workorder. A second proposal to have tree and landscape bushes trimed has yet to be completed. Contract in November. It's now April. When I called to complain I got an email from the manager telling me that he was unaware it hadn't been completed. I expressed my dis-satisfaction in poor communication and followup. Asked that he contact me to discuss the situation and the future relationship between us. No response. Sometimes there is nothing backing up a good first impression.

And the front lawn is all ripped up some parts he didn't even mow. Plus him and all the rest of them put there cigarette butts on the lawn it's so disgusting. And we pay a lot of money for this a they just trash the place. They came to clean it up thank god but still they should be more careful they only came because we told them what had happened. But this is just ridiculous and they do it every time this is the only time they came to fix it. The guy that came to fix it did a ok job than those other dubs but all he did was blow the dust,mulch,leaves and pollen in the woods.
