I paid with a $50 bill. She gave me $5 back. I immediately stated I had given her a $50 bill. She said it was a $20. There was nothing I could do. I am positive it was a $50 bill. I only had the one bill in my travel small purse and it was a $50 as I originally had paid my dog sitter before I left town $250 all in $50's and saved the last one for the trip, thinking with my credit card it would be enough. I had wandered away as she processed the payment at some items on a shelf. I'm sure she put the bill under others and then robbed me by telling me she did not have a $50 visible on top in her drawer. Just always use a credit card here or the hair stylist with the blond hair - who's lived in TN for 19 yrs. she stated will rob you.

She made sure I left her chair with my hair feeling even more silky then when I initially walked in. The row was installed too low - on my occipital bone to be exact, too many wefts were placed on the row resulting in damage to my natural hair, AND Kayla didn't even ensure all the wefts were sewn together... Go to Kayla if you want to shell out thousands of dollars over the course of 10 months just to be blocked in the end. For context, my last move-up was sloppy and poorly done (see photo). I have had extensions for over 3 years and have never had this issue so I know I'm not the one to be blamed here. I nicely texted her asking for her input and ultimately was blocked after she admitted her poor application left me with the urgency of needing it to be corrected before my next move-up. Professionalism is clearly not her strong suit. Between her dirty salon suite (consisting of dirty acrylic nails broken off of her finger) and hardly ever taking me on time, I'm now left to figure out a solution as she thinks it's acceptable to block a client without even conducting a proper conversation on the issue. She brags she's from LA but one look at her Instagram showcases her lack of talent. Shame on me for ignoring the multitude of red flags from day one. I'm sure she'll find a way to turn this around on me when I've been nothing but a loyal, generously paying client since May and was the one left inconvenienced. I've shown photos of my hair to multiple stylists now who have confirmed her color matching and technique are awful.

Plus, she is the nicest person and always listens and communicates well. She is now the owner of the Salon and has made some very nice updates. Her wash station chairs are the most comfortable I've ever sat in. The Salon is small, which I really like, so the noise level is so much better than in large salons. There's covered parking, too.
