I was paying the less expensive plan, and I noticed that other less dedicated students were advancing faster, my instructor always had corrections on my forms. When I was ready for the next sage/belt test, I was told that the program I had no one else had it, and I needed to bring it up to advance. So just like that, in one second I turned from student to a customer, from a loyal participant to a not profit. I lost all my respect for the sifu, not for my instructor that diligently made the effort to keep me engaged. I wanted to continue to the end but my experience with this gym was really discouraging. In some point during my practice we were asked to place good reviews on Yelp, and then I know why. So if you don't buy the seminars, or you don't buy the black belt program, you just don't move. When my budget didn't allowed me to buy all the other stuff I stop moving. I got into a couple of seminars and all the forms that we learned there, where just shown that day, there was never time to practice them again so you paid for flash crush curse of something that never practice again. My respect to the instructor that helped me throughout all my journey.

Every exercise and activity is intelligently calculated for the desired result, which is children who are mindful, empathetic, strong, confident, respectful of themselves and others, prepared, skilled, and able to defend themselves and others verbally and physically against everything from verbal disrespect to unwanted touches, to violent assault.
