Southern Painting Coppell/Flower Mound office…read more I cannot say enough good things about Southern painting. They just finished our house in 2- 1/2 days much sooner and better than we expected. The team led by Anna consisted of 3 ladies and 2 men who stayed with us from start to finish and worked non-stop with excellent attitudes and communication. The work consisted of power washing all the to be painted areas, sanding, caulking all wood areas and windows, fixing several trim pieces, even cementing tiles and trim area on an upper deck. Instead of using a hand held piece of cardboard to protect bricks from over spray they covered and taped all the brick around the trim pieces. I asked them to replace trim around a pole that was damaged by our mowers with weed whackers, Southern replaced the wood and covered it with metal to stop damage in the future. The house is 4,000 SQ.-FT, two story brick with lots of trim including several painted patios, painted columns and many other painted areas. They also painted our inside master bath cabinets and some hallways; work was excellent and completed within a day. I bid several painters, thinking with their good reviews and reputation Southern would not come in with the best price, to my surprise they were lower than all by a wide margin. Working with Leo was incredible; we have never had any contractor communicate more and spend time on the job to make sure all went as planned. Had them repaint our cabinets while we were out of town. We were told they would seal everything…read moreoff in the kitchen so that paint wouldn't get anywhere. They also said they would have a spot in the garage to do a lot of the sanding. We came back, cabinets looked good but we didn't realize till later that there is paint all over everything inside of the cabinets. So we are stuck removing paint off of everything we have. It's terrible. Wine glasses, plates, cookware.... Everything. Paint isn't easy to remove. Not to mention it's all over our floors. When we told them this they sent someone out and he didn't fix it and then they asked for payment. We pretty much just gave up at that point, paid them and called it a day. I was willing to move on until I discovered paint on all of my personal items. This is going to take a while to fix. There's also wood shavings all over the place so they didn't do any of that in the garage like they said. I don't recommend. It's def not work the headache of cleaning up after them.

Nate the Great! We…read morefound Nathan last year when we needed our 70's bathroom painted and wallpaper removed. Found him on the interet which we have never tried. We were pleasanly surprised! We ended up having Nathan and his helpers redo the hallway and doors/trim as well. We called him back and he has just recently painted our exterior (he's a wiz with color) and our master bed and bathroom. There is a pride in workman ship that is rare. He does what he says (and more). Call him with confidence; he is very easy to work with. We will have him back again and recommend him. We have had neighbors stop to get his number!
