She listened to me and then walked me through everything she recommended after which we agreed upon, including price which I appreciated. Then she worked her magic and WOW. She brought my hair back to life. I absolutely loved my hair cut and the color was stunning. She removed all traces of warm brassy tones and color matched me perfectly. I do feel that when someone is being unethical, it should be addressed. I went to Christine for some lowlights and wanted a FEW highlights to blend in, but I like my hair mostly dark. I told her this and she began mixing the products. It took her almost 2 hours just to apply the highlights. After my hair was done processing, I knew the color was awful. The blonde obviously didn't sit long enough and was very brassy. She then puts a deep conditioning in my hair (that I didn't ask for nor did she ask if I wanted it. She just did it). After that she put a toner in my hair. Again, didn't ask. All in all, I was there for 3 HOURS. When I went to pay, she tells me it's $275 and I booked for a $140 service!!!!!! How do you not tell someone that the price is going to be so much higher! She then tells me that I would have known the price if I did a consultation with her first. Why couldn't she tell me any prices before or during the service rather than just doing things I didn't even ask or agree to? She literally just put things in my hair. At the time, I didn't even know what she was doing. She told when she was ringing me up everything she did. I don't even like my hair. It is so brassy and streaky, and for almost $300, this should be the best lowlights/highlights I have ever had. I have never in my life spent so much money getting my hair done. I usually wear my hair up and it looks awful. When it's down, I have to be sure to part it in a certain way for it to look good. Otherwise, you can see places she missed. So many people that usually ask where I get my hair done has told me my hair looks awful, but I'm not going back and I can't justify spending anymore on my hair so soon. I think she was being extremely unethical in her business practice and, needless to say, I will not be going back and I do not recommend. *If she posts pics saying how great my hair looks, it is parted in a good spot. As I said above, it needs to be parted in certain areas to look good when it is down. Please let my photos of her work speak for themselves. Her color and application is beyond horrible. Update: she also lies. Her response is a lie. I did tell her I was looking for a new stylist because she does fry my hair, but I also told her I was very happy with the health of my hair now because I had cut off 3" a few months back and didn't want to damage it again. It has been about 5 months since i last put blonde in my hair. I have since just been doing lowlights. I walked in with VERY healthy hair. I also told her I love how my stylist did my hair just not that she damaged it. I never booked for another service and scheduled a different service because again I like my hair darker. I had to reschedule the original service because something came up. I also did not go back to give her a chance to fix it because I didn't want to chance getting more services done that I didn't ask for and pay more money to her. Seeing her lie of a response shows me I made the right call. I did end up getting it fixed by another stylist and am extremely happy. I couldn't wait a couple of months for this horrible dye job to grow out. Honestly, the fact that I hate my hair is not the main purpose of this review, and if that was the only problem, I probably wouldn't have written anything because that's just the risk you take going to a new colorist. The main purpose is that she did things to my hair that I didn't ask for and she didn't ask me to do them. So she can say all she wants her prices are posted and I should have known, but the reality is that I could have known her prices like the back of my hand and it wouldn't matter because she rang up the tab by just doing what she wanted. I will not be going back and forth with her. The fact is she is unethical and lies and you should question everything if you do decide to give her a try. I 100% stand by everything I have said in this review.

Feels dried out and brittle. I asked for 3inches to be cut off and got 6inches and it wasn't layered like I asked. There's part that are longer and shorter in some area's. I had asked her more than once why I felt burning Ivie said "its normal to fill itchy." But I have chemical burns on my scalp. On top of that my shirt got bleached in the process. When I came home I cried because my once natural brunette hair is ruined and fried. Now I have to wait to get someone to fix the damage. Paying $200 shouldn't get me what looks like a crappy box dye someone did at home. I went to a salon to avoid this sort of situation. Don't ever get you hair dyed here!
