Then I waited in the lobby for 35 mins before being called back to see Dr. Kano. I then waited in the back room for another hour. No contact from any of the staff to tell me what was going on, it was very frustrating. I ultimately left the appointment and said I did not want to be charged for this appointment or want my insurance company charged. We'll see what happens with that. I have had this problem at this clinic before. I tried switching from the Merced location to the Atwater location with no better treatment. I do not recommend Dr. Kano as he never listens to my heart with a stethoscope. I was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat last September 2024 from a different Dr. I was concerned, & immediately reached out to my primary care Dr Kano. His staff he could not see me until December of 2024 . Clearly no regard for my health. I asked for a referral to a heart specialist & was told they don't do referrals? Dr. Kano never listens to my lungs, even when I came in with bronchitis? So many concerns. I'm very let down by Dr. Kano. He has had me on a high blood pressure prescription for about 15 years. I have had fainting spells, and my blood pressure from my doctor visits have always been low. When I became alarmed to my lack of care in Merced County, I went to a different doctor in Southern California, they immediately took me off this medication. My blood pressure is now within regular parameters. I have had no more fainting spells. Run screaming from this doctor he is completely unqualified & uncaring.

Bad move. Wait list was 2 months for a new patient appointment. When I got there I checked in at 10:10am. At 12:10pm I gave up and walked out. You only get one chance to make a first impression. If you have an APPOINTMENT, you should not be having to wait over 2 hours without being seen. Complete waste of a morning. Gave the extra star since the Urgent Care was nice and the employees I dealt with seemed nice.

Well, turns out they had "just ran out". We thought okay, this is weird but I guess it can happen. The doctor informed us, our daughter can have the Hep B vaccine on her 2-month visit, along with the other vaccines. We agreed, believing the unfortunate situation to be a fluke and scheduled our daughter for her 2-month appointment. Well we go in for her 2-month appointment, wait approximately one hour, an the nurse informed us the facility had "just ran out" of the vaccine our daughter needs. We were in complete disbelief! We had cleared out our schedules, asked for the day off from work to take our daughter to get her 2-month shots but again we were not able to since they had ran out of the vaccine. Keep in mind this appointment was made a month in advance. I just don't understand how they were not prepared for our appointments, after all that is what an appointment is for. We have received appointment reminders one day before, why not advise us over the phone the vaccines for our daughter will not be available. Instead we both take time off from work, drive 30 minutes and wait one hour to be notified in person by a nurse they have ran out of the vaccines our daughter needs. We addressed the issue and expressed our concerns on these type of situations reoccurring to the Office Manager, Andrea. Andrea informed us these types of situations are common at this facility. I will no longer have my daughter be a patient here & do not recommend Olivewood Pediatrics to others.

The children's hospital said I would have died that day had she not caught it; my kidneys reached 0% functioning while I was in the ambulance. She is the best doctor I ever had and if I still lived in the Valley she would absolutely be my pediatrician of choice when I have kids of my own. Medical care in Merced is generally absysmal, but she is a light in the darkness.

Hands down their staff is very sweet, educated, comforting to your child and we LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are ON TIME, which is so important when you have a sick baby or working and taking in your baby to get checked. The way Dr Ostrea goes out of her way to make sure your questions are answered and the way she treated our daughter when she was going through a tough fever was beyond my expectations. I hope she doesn't retire anytime soon.

Dr. Nanra over saw my care while I was there and said if anything comes up come and see us. I decided to take him up on his offer today when I woke up to some questionable symptoms. They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs. I'm happy that I have the option to go here if anything urgent arises and know that they care about their patients. Thank you golden state!!!

She's hands down the best we've found since we moved to this area…read more She's professional, extremely knowledgeable and experienced and has a fantastic way with kids! Her personality is quite mellow but don't be fooled by this. She's calm and relaxed but is often able to discern with laser pinpoint precision what exactly is wrong and how to help our children within minutes! Another great thing is that she isn't one of those rotten doctor's offices that quadruple books a 15 minute time slot to make money but make you and your kids suffer for three hours in a room full of sick kids. Every pediatrician has done this in the area. Again, she is a professional and provides a professional environment. She even has a special section for infants so they can be shielded from the sick bigger kids. Dr. Asadi is the best!

They've been so supportive; problem solved and appointment successful. Today was my second time coming here to Hanger Clinic. I see Teng Lee, a Certified Orthotic Fitter. Absolutely the Highest praise possible for him. He is so friendly, so patient, and so fun to talk to. I'm still smiling . He knows his stuff for sure too. Just the best! I have to travel almost 100 miles, round trip, to see him, but it's worth every mile.
