Restaurant -The Guild- hotel 1st floor

Okay for a weekend stay only. Overall, a decent hotel, but did not look like the pictures- maybe I looked at the wrong pictures. It happens. The hotel is located in a good area for walkability between Universal and I-Drive. Close to a lot of restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The hotel was clean. The Guild is a restaurant located on the first floor. It was decent, and the staff were friendly. The hallways to the rooms are dark- it just seems old. However, the rooms have been completely remodeled. They were nice and clean. No noted mold or mildew. I felt comfortable sleeping in the bed. The pool was closed for maintenance. Parking $35 Breakfast Buffet $25 I would consider staying again.

I would be very likely to recommend the Castle Hotel, Autograph Collection to a friend or business associate. The hotel offers a beautiful blend of elegance, comfort, and unique character. The ambiance is inviting and peaceful, making it a great option for both leisure and business stays. My mom and I truly appreciated the hotel's commitment to accessibility. The availability of multiple handicap parking spaces made a meaningful difference for us, and the staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating by storing my mom's rented scooter, which we were very grateful for. That level of care and attentiveness stood out. The rooms were stylish and comfortable overall; however, there are a few opportunities for improvement. While cleanliness was fair, I did need to re-clean the bathroom due to hair on the toilet, sink, and tub, and there was rust visible on the heater and mirror. Additionally, one of the electrical outlets was not fully assembled on the wall, which raised a safety concern. For accessibility and safety, it would be wonderful to see more walk-in showers, as they would be much more accommodating for guests with mobility needs. Updating the power outlets to include USB-C charging ports would also be helpful -- my mom and I had to unplug lamps just to charge our phones. Another small frustration was that several TV channels (including HBO, Lifetime, and Freeform) were unavailable due to a "signal weak and unable to connect" message. Despite these issues, the staff was professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, and the overall experience felt elevated yet relaxing. Whether for a weekend getaway, a special occasion, or business travel, the Castle Hotel delivers a memorable and enjoyable experience, with just a few updates that could make it even better.

The Castle Hotel in Orlando is a fun and unique place to stay. Not only does the outside resemble a castle, but the inside is filled with playful and stylish decorations as well. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had an upscale, elegant feel. The pool area is spacious and includes a hot tub, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and quick to help--when I asked for extra towels, they were delivered right away. The location is also a big plus, with easy access to ICON Park and a central spot close to many Orlando attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, this is a nice hotel. It is clean and I love the decor! The staff is nice. The food is so so. I wasn't impressed with their breakfast buffet but they had Starbucks so I was happy. One thing I was dissatisfied about this hotel with is one the food. I had ordered room service and got a quesadilla and it was not good. Secondly, you can order room service, but it doesn't apply to breakfast. being that I was there for work. I did not want to have to come all the way downstairs just to get breakfast and coffee, but I had no choice at this hotel. If you're in Orlando and you need a nice place to stay this hotel has a great ambience. The decor is wonderful. The staff is friendly. The Jacuzzi and pool are also nice.

Pros: - Unique castle atmosphere, loved the themed elements - Staff is extremely helpful and polite, one of the best Marriott staffs I've encountered - Everything was clean - Remodeled rooms are now much more modern and elevated, especially the new bathrooms - Great location, able to walk to icon park Cons: - You shouldn't have to pay for parking in a parking lot that is completely open and free to the public, if anything have it free for people staying at the hotel ONLY - This isn't a high end hotel, it's more on par with smaller cheaper marriotts, I think the breakfast buffet should be free like some of their other properties - No body wash provided in bathrooms

In an area where there is an abundance of hotels and different deals. There's this little hidden gem. Be aware of all added fees. Service is great, clean rooms small pool.

This hotel is both rustic and glamorous! The combination doesn't seem to fit at first glance. Inside is a very country like feel with skins and bones as decorative pieces. And then there's a touch of glamour and fabulousness! The two styles oddly flow well together inside this hotel. The outside of the hotel is just STUNNING. It looks like a castle you would see in Ireland... Or in a movie/ on a Hollywood set. It's gorgeous!!!! The pool and grounds are beautiful. The architecture creates a romantic atmosphere at this hotel. Absolutely

Castle Hotel This seemed like a pretty decent hotel to book solely to shower and have a place to lay my head for two nights (no intentions to use the pool, gym, buffet breakfast, or any other facilities/offerings). And the price was OK. I was surprised to see the Four Diamond plaque on the wall, as I didn't get that vibe from the pictures I've reviewed before booking. The front desk staff did uphold that honor. They were friendly, insightful, and very helpful. When I got to the room I noticed that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a large TV with the basic 50 or so cable channels. You're also able to order food delivery and the front desk will call up to let you know they've received it. You also receive two complimentary bottles of water upon check in, but after that it's $2 per bottle. While preparing for bed the first night, I realized there were quite a few issues - and I may have been nitpicking... The toilet is lower to the floor then I'm used to, which wasn't a huge issue, just a callout. Also, the toilet paper holder was directly behind me so I had to remove the toilet paper and place it on the counter for easy access. They didn't have anything labeled hand soap so I used "cleansing soap" assuming that's similar. It was immediately VERY drying. My hands felt like paper. The water pressure from the shower is OK, but the towels are small. Another thing that bothered me is that the drawers in the bedroom don't fit adult size clothing. You have to use the dresser in the closet that contain the safe in the top drawer. Also, if you plan on heating up leftover food - you can't. There's no microwave in the room. You may be able to request one. I am unsure. I didn't want one bad enough to ask. And if you're like me and prefer to charge your electronics near your bed at night, there's one outlet on the side of the bed nearest the window where a lamp is plugged in plus two USB ports, however the outlet wouldn't hold any plugs, and there weren't enough outlets in the room compared to most hotels. Lastly, but my two most important pet peeves during this stay: housekeeping and lack of soundproofing. When I checked in I specifically requested housekeeping because I'd be sharing the room with someone else. During the time housekeeping was supposed to clean our room, we were out and wouldn't be back until early the next morning, so when we returned we didn't have the option to ask someone to come clean it. Housekeeping didn't add any trash bags in the trash cans either. I had some issues falling asleep with the surrounding noise. You can hear everything happening in the halls, especially conversations as if you are a part of them. Very thin (old?) walls. The windows are not soundproof so you will also hear every vehicle that has a loud engine. Not ideal for a light sleeper like me. It's a cool idea for a hotel, but for me the service and experience weren't executed well. I prefer the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

Arrived late, quick check in, room was clean, fun style (old school classy?) and everything worked. For the price, this was pretty unbeatable. I saw there was breakfast in the morning but had to hurry out.

Great service. The hotel rooms were clean and we were central to the area. We were able to walk to the Ferris wheel and access many nearby restaurants. Come here if you want to feel like royalty!

Nicely decorated hotel, walking distant to Icon Park, close to a lot of restaurants. Parking was $25/night. The body wash bottle was empty and they gave us small tube ones. Would stay here again if I'm in Orlando.

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

We were able to go out and about without worrying about driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .
