Oh wait, why would it be safe to assume they could complete an honest task that is part of their job? I saw Dr. Ludin for a toothache for which she couldn't find the source. She did find a "small…read morecavity" on the opposite side of my mouth. Went in to have it filled and as she was working on my tooth (lower molar), her drill jumped out of her hand and chipped off a piece of a separate tooth (top incisor). I immediately asked if it chipped my tooth and the Dr. said it was fine. The dental assistant thankfully spoke up and pointed out the jagged edge left behind and the Dr. then filed the chip to a smooth edge. I also have a cut on my lip from where it was being pinched during the procedure. I went into this appointment with a high level of anxiety and having damage done to my teeth only exacerbates my anxiety about going to a dentist in the future. I don't know if anyone leaves the dentist feeling happy, but I definitely left feeling hurt and upset.

After checking every recommendation I could find, I made an appoint to see Dr. Goodman. It took me over a year to decide which dentist I should see. Pretty quick I felt Dr. Goodman was the best dentist I've been to! He's very kind, listens (!), explains, is gentle, calming, never judgmental. He keeps his office and staff up to date on all the technology, quite often he has attended conferences for the latest info and equipment available. Dr. Goodman will explain all the options for a procedure, usually there are more than one and I've never felt pushed to do anything I didn't want. The entire staff is helpful and kind from the front desk receptionist, to billing (she really knows her stuff with insurance!), to the hygienist. Everyone is professional, helpful and up to date. I was just at Prairie Hawk Dental office for a cleaning & the young lady was a temp who goes to different offices as needed. She told me that she has probably worked at 50 dental offices and that Prairie Hawk Dental office was the best of all of them, with all their up to date equipment and how the office is run. That says so much! This office can do implants, laser procedures, crowns, and many other dental procedures. I had a crown made after a root canal one time and the crown was done in an hour! No waiting a couple weeks with a temp crown, for it to arrive from another company! Because Dr. Goodman has all the equipment right there! Don't look any farther for a great dentist and staff, it's Prairie Hawk! There are also two other dentists that work there, I've heard great things about them too! Highly recommend!
