When we finally found it ourselves and went to the front desk, the employees deliberately ignored us while we were actively trying to check out. ​When I finally confronted the staff and asked if there was an issue with us shopping there, the manager, Angelica, was incredibly hostile. She snapped and claimed we were "not purchasing customers"--which was a blatant lie, considering we had already bought one book and were standing there trying to hand them money for a second one. ​To make matters worse, Angelica's terrible attitude was entirely fueled by petty retaliation. She became angry and refused to assist us simply because I declined their insultingly low offer for my trade-in books. Angelica is completely unsuited for a management role, and the staff's exclusionary, rude behavior is unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere to a store that actually values its customers.

I called for over 2 weeks including the release date since the store is an hour away only to then be told I'd get an email when the book came in but it could be a week or two after its release. Seriously? Who wants to wait 1-2 weeks after a book you've already been waiting on gets released?! I ordered the book a month in advance. Never got that email, stopped calling, ordered the book the day before from Amazon and had it on my front porch the day it came out. Thanks for nothing Barnes and Noble. Also, you cost more.
