They were amazing. Brad helped us with redoing our kitchen , bathroom and dining room. They needed updating. He is great at suggestions and visualizing it all together. We just had a new wrought iron bed delivered. The first thing we noticed when the delivery men stepped out of the truck was that one was an elderly gentleman and the other a boy. The older fellow said the boy was his grandson. We immediately got worried because the mattress and box spring that had to be removed and replaced is very big and heavy. But, the older fellow thought they could handle it. Big mistake! By the time the new bed was installed, the boy cut his finger on something and got a few small blood spots on our sheets. We are sorry for him; but, since this was our only set, my wife had wash and dry them before we could put them back on the bed. Also, in replacing the mattress on the new bed, they let the mattress rest on a bed post and put a hole in the mattress! These two should never have been sent out to make this delivery and we should have sent them away at the door. This was a very trying experience for my wife who watched them struggle with mattress. We do not recommend this store. read more

My wife and I moved to Florida last year and brought limited furnishings with us. Our new home needed everything including lights and ceiling fans. We looked at a lot of stores before deciding to purchase our furniture as well lights , ceiling fans, window treatments and accessories from Castner and Castner. Our designer and sales person, Lisa, was exceptional in her abilities to pull together the decor. We would recommend her in a heartbeat ( she is no longer there). That said, we've had an ongoing issue with the Hunter Douglas window blinds and we have been unsuccessful in getting any assistance from the owner to rectify the problem. All we get from Brad Castner are excuses...short staffed, busy season (with the snow birds), weather, manufacturing defect, etc. It's been a year and the problem still exist! The manufacture claims they can't help and sends us back to Castner and Castner... an endless loop of frustration. We spent way too much on these window treatments and regret purchasing anything beyond furniture from this company. Think twice before shopping here as their customer service is horrendous. read more

It used to be a nice place to shop but you can barely get through now. They have stuff leaning everywhere. The warehouses in the back are full of expensive but faded old stuff. They should dump it and spread out the front showroom. We were preshopping to bring my mother (who is in a wheel chair) somewhere to purchase her new retirement condo full of Florida furniture. We would have never been able to even get through the first aisle. Clean it up, you have some nice stuff. It looks like the messiness of the place might be costing you some business. read more

Right after we ordered a blue couch and put a hefty deposit down, my Dr. diagnosed me with an allergy to blue dye. We asked to change our order to a beige couch. We didn't want to cancel, just change for true medical reasons, but they refused! They could have put the blue couch on their display floor and helped us out, but no. We had no choice but to forfeit our deposit and buy elsewhere. We've since moved and bought a LOT of new furniture which we might have bought from Castner IF they'd been foresighted enough to treat us well. read more

It's a shame I can't find any reveiws for this company who has been in business since 1979. If a company is good you will find many reviews. But, I can see why there isn't any. I had an encounter with them in regards to a ladies dresser that I purchased that was in their warehouse-I was never told that the warehouse had "AS IS" furniture. I can see why they put it in there- it so dark and crowded that you can't see a thing. I did purchase the dresser because I liked it-I did ask why the top drawer was sticky and the sales agent didn't have a answer-after receiving the merchandise I come to find out that the dresser was damaged and they had tried and I mean tried to fix it-they better get a new repairer. I didn't mind that part because I liked the dresser. I went back to see if they would come down on the nightstand and the answer was a definete NO. It was marked down to $315 and I offered $250-after paying the full price for the dresser. We went back a month later to see if it was still there and of course it was and still offered $250 and again the answer was NO. I wrote to the owner of the Company Brad Castner in regards to this piece being there for a few months (3) and if he would accept an offer and his response was it's no skin off my nose if I don't sell it. What kind of business person would speak like that. I will never buy another piece of furniture from this company and hope people will be aware of what they are getting in the warehouse and to look very carefully because they won't tell you if there is anything wrong with the furniture.
