He loves to cook, and it shows in the quality of his food. When we did a tasting with him, he gave us some ideas, coached us on what food would be best for our venue, and accommodated our special requests. Rob met with us beforehand more than once to understand what we were looking for and get a feel for the location. On our wedding day, Rob and his assistant felt like part of the wedding party! He made the task of wrangling frazzled family and guests for pictures fun and efficient. Most importantly, Rob made us feel at ease which made for gorgeous, relaxed photos! The little touches were the most memorable. For instance, joking with my grandparents and keeping me, the sweltering bride in 100 degree weather, shaded with photo equipment. I can't even count how many times Rob's assistant got me water, a job the wedding coordinator was tasked to do and never did. They truly went above and beyond for us. Big moments, little moments and spontaneous fun moments were all captured. I ran after an ice cream truck at one point (spontaneous, but the one thing everyone remembers from my wedding) and Rob was right there shooting. I don't know how he did it, but he got to the truck before I did and got some wonderful shots. Our photos were ready to view soon after we came home from our honeymoon. We were blown away with how gorgeous they were. Our photos tell the story of our wedding day in wonderful detail, right down to what the buffet looked like! She took charge of the event and reassured me she'd take care of everything. She directed everyone on when they should walk down the aisle and with whom they should walk. She set everything up (cake, guest book, chairs, tables, etc.). She even had someone available to run the iPod during the ceremony (sound system complements of YouDoDJ). Everything was perfect. Speaking of perfect, the food was AMAZING! I'm still hearing about how wonderful the food was. We had Pork Tenderloin with a Huckleberry Demi Glace, Italian Chicken Roulade, Roasted Red Potatoes, their Signature Salad (with cranberries and the most delicious candied walnuts), fruit, sourdough bread, and lemonade and coffee to drink (to accompany Arbor Crest's wine). He is happy to do what you need, and he and his wife are ready to help with any little issues that might crop up and made sure we knew he planned to get out of the photo for the big kiss - which is important! In the event of a cancellation such as a COVID cancellation the contract was clear - they only needed to give back the payment that wasn't part of the deposit to hold the date. That's all we expected and we told them that. They said they were going to give us the full refund because the reason was COVID and that's what they had decided to do for all the COVID cancellations. They are incredibly honest and kind - they didn't need to do that, but they did. We are incredibly bummed to not have Ralph officiate but are happy for the couples who get him.
