Through the experience, we had the opportunity to print our own tote bag to take home from the event. In the process, they walked us through how they make the bags, and we got to actually do our own making of the prints on the bag. Afterwards the bags went through a heating process to dry the ink. Voila! Your are now able to take your bag to go. The bag has been washed and the print is still very perfect. They offer several printing services, and I am considering using them for an upcoming project I have for a couple of mine getting hitched in the near future. They're legit!

The class was very laid back and a great alternative to a night out. Wine was encouraged so I brought a box (just to make sure I had enough, duh.) I believe the two ladies that run the class are sisters or good friends and very creative and personable. We had a blast sipping wine and taking turns learning the art of screen printing. I have taken other art with wine classes and this one was the most interesting and entertaining of them all. In addition, they will work with you if you have a group outing (bachelorette party, girls night out, etc.) The class basically paid for it-self since I kept one of the canvases for the house and gave two away as Christmas presents. Hip Hues is somewhat of a hidden gem and well worth the money! I feel like I walked away with a unique piece of art that I am proud to show. I can't say that for all the paint/art classes I have taken.

I called Keelyns Kreations very last minute to get a quote, she told me to head over even though she was closing within an hour. This company has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. My package was lost, and I…read morenever received any shipment notification, tracking information, or follow-up communication after placing my order. They were very responsive up until the point they took my payment--but once that happened, communication completely stopped. When I reached out for help, I was met with zero compassion or effort to resolve the issue. I was essentially told that they had "done their part" and that the problem was mine alone to deal with. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability or concern. There was no attempt to assist, no solution offered, and not even a gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience of never receiving my order. It felt very much like once they had my money, customer care no longer mattered. Based on this experience, I strongly encourage others to think twice before ordering from this company. There are plenty of businesses out there that value their customers and provide far better service.

I'm always up for an adventure, (as if my eye thing wasn't adventure enough) especially with any of my girls. Sure enough I said as she pulled into Treasure Village. Right from the get go I knew this place was going to be good. It had that musty smell. You know that smell when you walk into grandma's old house? Come to think of it, when I was young, and I first smelled that smell, I thought that it was grandma. But I soon found that It was old gold just waiting to be rediscovered. After poking around a bit I stumbled upon a real cool huge glass bottle. I've always wanted one of those. I said "hey Missy, check this out" I know, she replied as she was talking to a clerk. She spied it before I did. She was attempting to negotiate the price to a more favorable proposition. The clerk said that she'd have to call the gentleman who is selling it. So we went on with our treasure hunt. This store has a lot of twists and turns, ups and downs in it. Stuff is everywhere. Search closely to uncover a special find. We did and we found. I lost track of Missy somewhere in the labyrinth of rooms and aisles. When we met up again it was by the front counter. I asked if she heard from the seller of the big bottle. Missy said "I sure did daddy, happy father's day!" That girl made the deal and I am now the proud owner of a 13 gallon glass bottle. I love that girl! What am I going to do with it you ask? I'm going to fill it with coins of course. My 5 gallon bottle is full. Quick Tip: Be careful going up and down the stairs going up to the second floor. The steps are about half as wide as normal stairs are. I told my granddaughter that they were like this because back in the day women wore hoop skirts and had to go down the stairs sideways. Oh grandpa she said. Those are my favorite words.
