Has office cats that let me scratch their butts!! Our family has been taking our cat to this office for almost two years and we enjoy it. The staff are friendly, they are great about taking concerns seriously when you call, and even still try to pet our mean old man when he comes in (even though he wants no parts of that). Only reason I can't give their office five stars is because they are rather expensive. Other than that though, I would absolutely recommend taking your feline family members in to see them! I brought my cat here for boarding for one week and was told by phone he was doing well and was happy. Even though I brought him in with an entire bag of cat food + a can of wet food for every day he was being boarded, he came home very much skinnier than he left. Not eating would be a red flag I would expect to be communicated with about, and I'm a bit vexed it was not mentioned and I thus have to wonder about the level of care provided. Otherwise, the payment and scheduling process were smooth. I'm undecided on if I'll use Cat care Clinic again at this point. Not the best not the worst. read more

My family and I have taken our kitties here since before I was born. When I had my own cats, I continued coming here. I like the specialized practice and attention my cats get here. The staff are friendly and sweet to the cats. When I had to make a hard decision last year to put down my 17 year old cat, Dr Bouche and the staff were nothing but wonderful to me and gave me and my old little guy a comfortable space to have that final time together. I am heavily involved in local cat rescue, fostering and advocating. While Cat Care Clinic is a little pricier than some typical vets office, it's worth it for the level of care they provide and being specialists in felines. They are also very hands on and generous with local cat non-profits and support The Paw Project. I love that they offer free paw evaluations for declawed cats. I have taken declawed fosters to them for a free xray and evaluation and am very impressed with how thorough they are with a completely free exam. Obviously since they only treat cats, that makes it a little less stressful for your cat. They also have the office set up cat friendly, welcoming, and their staff is all extremely friendly and helpful. They have been more than happy to deal with accepting payments from donors, wishing to help fund fosters procedures. Highly recommend. read more

Dropped my cat off for boarding here a few weeks ago and I was very pleased with my experience. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I felt safe knowing they had vets on staff in case of emergency while I was away. You can call and book your board, and I would note that it's best to call as soon as you know dates so you can ensure there are spots available. I opted to rent a room for my cat (he's pretty wild and crazy so I knew this option would be best), which was only $30. As long as vaccinations are up to date and some sort of flea/tick prevention is given ahead of time there are no added fees. I was able to pay during my drop off so that pickup was super quick and painless. This was the first time I've ever boarded my cat, so I expected some anxiety. As soon as we got home after a few moments he was back to his old self, so I felt this was a success! Definitely will be coming back in the future. read more

This facility has gone downhill in compassion and sensibility since Dr. Howell retired. I've have taken my 4 cats there since 2006 for treatment, vaccines and unfortunately euthanasia. All ages and years apart. My cats have all lived to be 15-18. Pretty good for cats that love inside and outside. My daughters 15 year old cat has come to a depressing and sore stage in her life. She stays in a dark closet most of the day and has the normal end of life functions like pooping and peeing, puking. She's very frail. A beautiful 15 year old cat . She was adopted at 6 years old as a special needs cat due to her mouth disease ,she has had a good 9 more years. Coming to the decision to show mercy is hard. They are family. You finally make that call only to have the Doctor push drugs to " help" and deny your tough choice. To add insult to injury they tell you to take her to the humane society if you don't want her anymore. What an a%*hole. We all love that cat! What's even worse is I built them up and said they are so caring in times like these. The way the doctor treated my daughter and her decision was revolting. This isn't our first rodeo with aging animals. Pushing pills and saying what they did was shocking. This has taken a long time to decide ....only to have the above happen. Needless to say I will never do business or refer business again. read more

I got my first cat a few months ago and they have been so helpful with guiding me through all I needed to do for my kitten! The $200 kitten package (for all vaccines, three visits, and a round of flea preventative) was the most affordable I've found and put my mind at ease. They have even done follow-up calls for as little as vaccines to make sure my kitten didn't have any reactions. They are very knowledgeable and I was so appreciative of the vet and vet techs answering all of my questions. I love that they are cats only and I know my kitten won't get scared from all the dogs barking in the waiting room. I definitely recommend them so far! read more

I am so glad I chose the Cat Care Clinic as my primary vet for my two kitties. They are patient, caring, and quick at responding to your concerns. I was given a kitten when she was 8 weeks old (Mochi) who was covered in fleas, had ear mites and worms, and I chose to get the kitten package. The only reason I'm giving this place 4/5 stars is because it is a little expensive. ($200 for the kitten package), but honestly it was worth every penny. My Mochi girl is almost 4 months now and I feel like they really took care of her when she needed it most. (They even trimmed her nails for me because I didn't feel comfortable doing it myself yet, free of charge! Heck ya!) When you walk in, you aren't bombarded with barking dogs, nasty smells, and dirty floors. It's a quaint, clean and inviting environment for both you and your baby. :-) read more

The staff and DVMs at the Cat Care Clinic have my highest respect and gratitude, as they were able to save my kitty Hermione's life this week after she took a bite of a Lilly leaf this past Sunday. Although we started her treatment at a 24 hour animal hospital, we were faced with the tough decision of having to finance a $2500 hospital stay or basically risk Hermione's life with treatment at home--where her chances of survival were slim to none. Being less than 3 years old, I was in no position to let that happen and immediately started calling around town to see what I could do. I called the CCC in an emotional panic (this was on Tuesday) and they saw her, started her treatment right away, and quoted a very manageable price for her care. Dr. B is an incredible professional who gave me the facts, acted quickly, and was sensitive to the situation in many ways. Dr. Jacobi was of the same professional caliber, and I am so glad that even after just 5 days of having a kitty patient there, I know both of the doctors there by face and name. While Hermione ended up hospitalized for longer than we anticipated, not only was I thrilled that they were able to save her, but also with the kind and attentive care they gave to her AND me in the process. Hermione is the kind of cat that is very particular about her company, and I know she was not the easiest patient, yet no one complained (even though they let me know she was no saint, as I expected!) I was allowed to see her whenever I wanted during their open hours, and they were so kind and supportive every time I walked through their doors. There is so much to be said about the difference a smaller and more intimate practice makes. This situation has reminded me of what I already know-- bigger is not always better. I first brought my cats to Cat Care Clinic about 9 years ago. I had just moved to the north side of Indy, and the clinic was close by. It was owned by a different vet then, and while his service was fine, I'm extremely pleased with the level of service since the change in ownership. The facility is clean (and stylish!), the service is friendly and compassionate, and I feel the prices are fair. Dr. Moran is a real delight to talk to. She has a wonderful "bedside manner" and does a great job of explaining issues. She's never been "pushy" in trying to get you to spend extra money, but rather explains options and helps you make the right decision for your pet. They also allow for monthly payments on large bills! That was a huge help when I had a whopper of a visit with a very sick kitty. Finally, be sure to say hello to the office kitty, Oliver. He's just the sweetest thing ever! EDIT 1/22/16 I felt it was very important to edit my review to include a huge revelation! During my last visit, I learned that Cat Care Clinic supports the growing movement of putting an end to declawing cats. There are still a lot of cat people who get upset when they learn a vet refuses to perform this procedure, but I applaud Cat Care Clinic for their stance. This practice is cruel and unnecessary. I went here years ago and it was the best experience I have had with a vet. When I needed emergency help for one of my cars, they were amazing and always sent them home with these little catnip toys that my cats loved. I still have the toys! I moved away for several years and when I came back, I had no doubt where I was going choose for a vet. I don't remember the current staff from years ago, but they are also amazing. Highly recommended for anyone not confident with their vet or seeking a vet in general. You won't regret it! read more

Sure its great...but I went here for a cat grooming..and it was 130.00!!!!!!! I dont even spend that on myself..they then wanted to charge me 77.00 for blood work cuz thwy have to sedate the cat??? Again this is a cat..not a wild african lion.(thank God I refused justspent 140.00 last week onshots at other clinic....BUT ..200 dollars for a cat bath??????? Decided to give this place a try because our regular vet of 25 years (Dr. Deitz @ Daisey Lane - who is fantastic) happened to be out of town on the day we were concerned about both of our cats. The symptoms were flu like, yet we were pitched on the need for feline dental work five times and sold probiotics for $60 that can be bought anywhere else for $25 or less. We took our 18 year old very cranky cat to another vet twice and they could not control him enough to get a blood sample or anything at all. We took him to the Cat Care Clinic and Dr. Boucher took control, got a blood and urine sample and has called us twice and left extensive feedback and suggestions for his treatment. I started coming to Cat Care Clinic about 2 months ago when I was searching for a new vet after my 18 year old cat was hospitalized. I absolutely love them! They are a feline approved clinic with a gold star rating. I like the fact that it is always quiet so my already nervous kitty doesn't get even more stressed out. They take the time to listen to what is going on and are very gentle. Since my geri cat has multiple issues going on, she had become a regular. I'm also pleased to say that unlike other vets they only order tests that are necessary when they are necessary. The prices are competitive and they also have boarding services available. I just started taking my two cats to Cat Care Clinic at the recommendation of a doctor that visits the Indy Humane Society. The staff are all so friendly and warm with both my kitties and myself. I bought a flea and tick collar to replace the monthly treatments I had been using as the collar lasts 8 months and was cheaper. It is working fine on one of my cats, but the other began to scratch at his neck until the hair was gone and a sore developed before I saw it. Today I took my cat with the wound to see "Dr. B." She examined Rusty and told me that in fact she thought it was an allergic reaction to the medicine in the collar. Dr. B said she would call the manufacturer and report the problem. In the mean time she said she would refund the cost of the collar I had bought from her in full. She also gave Rusty a shot of antibiotic and another shot to relieve the itching and stop his scratching. She said she would not charge me for this service or the office visit as well. Dr. B could have easily done what I have had other "vets" do over the years and find a way to make it my fault or "just something that happens" and charged me a couple of hundred more dollars today. In a world where we all have to watch who we trust, today I learned that I can trust the Cat Care Clinic and "Dr. B." I highly recommend trusting them with your precious kitties! read more

I have been taking my 3 cats to the CCC for at least 4 years now. Every time I go, I'm reminded why I choose CCC to care for my kitties! Their office is clean and quiet and everyone on the staff is friendly and caring. My kitties have been there for almost everything: dental treatment, digestion issues, urinary issues, and even a life-threatening respiratory infection. Each time, I leave feeling so relieved that they are being cared for at CCC. Their fees are reasonable and they make payment plans available to customers who qualify, which is a huge help. During my past few visits, I have been really impressed by the kindness and compassion of the staff. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my cats. I have owned housecats for over 40 years so am very familiar with the general cost of blood work, dental cleaning and possible extraction. An estimate of approximately $1200 for blood work, dental cleaning, and with a possible extraction or two is highly exorbitant. How anyone could call this "reasonable" is beyond comprehension. I took my cat elsewhere to have the work done (to a vet who owns and love cats too) and the cost was $325. How does the Cat Care Clinic remain in business??? read more

I am not a fan. The office staff never knows how to answer my questions- I always have to wait to get my question answered by the doctor. They insisted on giving my cat food that gave him diarrhea and would not tell me how much to feed him. I am a first time cat owner so I have a lot of questions and I want someone who knows what they are talking about to answer them. They overcharged me for medicine that I didn't even use. Not going back again. I gave them several chances and have been disappointed by my experience every time. read more
