A driver was assigned not long after. Our driver, Luis, arrived ahead of schedule in an immaculate SUV. He texted when he arrived, and assisted with our luggage. We had a great conversation with him for most of the drive from South Beach to FLL as he pointed out some interesting facts about some buildings and areas we passed. Overall, the spend vs a rideshare is comparable. But with Cata, you'll get a professional driver for what you're spending. We were very impressed with Cata car service. We were so happy with our pickup from the airport, that we rebooked them for our departure trip as well. The drivers are super friendly and helpful. The cars are spacious and sparkling clean. They are also very prompt. When booking, the deciding factor for us in choosing Cata was that they allowed a stop on the way for us to pick up some bottled water. The owner told us that if it was 15-20 minutes, there would be no extra charge. We kept it less than that. Do not waste your time on an inferior big-box car service. We took Go! Executive car service from FLL to miami beach and it was decent and friendly so we thought we'd take it on the way back. BIG mistake. They shamed us for not booking soon enough and were very discourteous on the phone. Enter Cata executive car service. A wonderful experience with Cata! Andras was our driver. He arrived on time and even waited a few minutes for us while we finished our dessert and paid our check. Then we were offered waters and whisked away in a top-of-the-line sedan. I was pleased with the Escalade as we had been riding Sedans all week. I wish I had have checked Yelp sooner on. I live in Mexico City and called just before my flight took off. When I exited Customs, the driver was waiting, a clean and very good car (Town Car) was assigned and the trip was uneventful. I just called as well and they could really work on their customer service skills. And please, get someone who articulates their words. It was so hard to understand the man on the other line, it was like he was mumbling. At first this man kind of talked over me. I told him we needed transportation to the port and he named the port. I simply asked if that was the only port in the area because I forgot to check the name of the port. He responded in a way that made me feel stupid. Conversation did not leave comforting feeling. I added one extra star because this man did suggest I download their app Cata Black Car and use the promo code Cata15. I tried to do this and I can't find this app in the iphone app store, maybe it will work for someone else. He said it was a promotion for first time users. I hired this company to pick up a friend of mine at Miami International airport and take him to Dania Beach about 30 minutes north of the MIA airport. Both of my bosses came back from Miami telling me on two separate occasions that they had a great experience with Cata. They told me to keep their information on file so that we could use them again the next time they're in Florida. Apparently it's not easy to find a car service in Miami that offers infant car seats either. Many car services get away with saying they offer infant car seats, but when the car arrives the seat comes without a base to secure it, or it's the wrong type. My boss is very concerned about the safety of her child and she had absolutely no complaints this time around. Airport pickups to hotels and cruise ships.....rented a driver for the entire day twice to go and visit friends outside of Miami......and we have been just SO happy each and every time!
