Just the best tour guides ever.

The highlight of our Catalina trip! We booked this zip-lining tour for my birthday, and it completely exceeded our expectations! The course itself is amazing, with stunning ocean views the whole way down. But what really made the experience a 10/10 were our guides, Elias and Zack. They were professional, hilarious, and made sure everyone was having a blast while staying completely safe. Their positive energy was contagious. Thank you, Elias and Zack, for such an incredible adventure!

This was soo much fun! Can't beat the views! All five runs were super fun and each had something to make it special. Felt safe the whole time! Nat and Felix were the beeeest! Both kept us safe and made sure we all had a good time. Good dudes. Good tunes!

Our first time zip lining and it was truly amazing. The guides we had were Cruise (Tom Cruise) and Nat. I cannot say enough of how professional, knowledgeable and calming these gentlemen guides treated us and the entire group! The views were picturesque and stunning! This was an exhilarating experience which checked off the bucket list. Our gratitude and appreciation to "Tom" Cruise and Nat!

A must do in Catalina! Took a day trip to visit the island for the first time, and so glad we decided to book a zip line tour. Great way to get into nature without hiking, and had so much fun zip lining! Kaitlin and Kyler were fantastic guides and kept us engaged and safe throughout the entire trip. Big kudos to them for getting everyone across the finish line, and being the nicest people. There were five lines in total, each with unique features to keep it exciting. Our group was about 8 people, and we each finished a line before moving to the next. There were a few people in the group who were very nervous or had a fear of heights, much made it through the whole tour, so I wouldn't be discouraged if you've never gone zip lining before. Overall had so much fun and learned some facts about the island. Would highly recommend this tour, it's worth the money!

    The view from the top!

We wanted to do something different for my sons' birthdays (14 & 16), so we decided to celebrate by zip-lining on Catalina Island. It was the first time for all of us, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Our guides, Abby and Elias, were fantastic. They made everyone feel safe, explained everything clearly, and kept the experience fun from start to finish. The tour lasts about two hours and includes a safety briefing, a ride up the hill, and five exciting zip lines that gradually take you back down the canyon to where you started. The views are incredible, and the whole operation is extremely well organized. If you're visiting Catalina and looking for a fun adventure, I highly recommend adding the Zip Line Eco Tour to your itinerary. It was worth every penny and created a memory our family will always have.

I love zip lines which is the best way to get an aerial view of the place you are visiting. I have done it locally and abroad a few times, the Eco tour so far is the best with attentive staffs and vigorous safety checks. I apologize for not remembering their names, we had a kind woman and an energetic young man as our guide. They explained the process in details and accompanied us on the whole journey. I felt safe and well cared for. The lady guide made an effort to remember all our names which was so sweet! Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the Tarzan leaf attempt. It's a great game and the atmosphere is amazing. The views from the lines are great.

My wife and I went ziplining out in Catalina. We had two great tour guides. " Bailey & I believe Kelsey ' not to sure but they were great they Showed us all the rundown for the safety tips and maneuvers to make sure our trip was fun and safe made plenty of jokes to relax the guest and the hummer ride up was fun as well. The honeymoon guest Mr. & Mrs Cookie monster greatly appreciate The experience

We had a wonderful time zip lining on Catalina Island . We felt very safe and our guides Marco & Jeana were extremely professional, super fun and friendly! Highly recommended for a fun activity on the island.

Sooo fun! We did the 12:40 tour today (July 30), and Angelina and Danny were amazing and muscular! Angelina's the goat and insanely strong (don't doubt that Danny isn't, but she was our receiving guide). Both were incredibly kind and extroverted, which was nice to distract us from being scared lol. The views were also very beautiful!

    Best group!!

This was one of the best things we did on Catalina Island! We had an amazing time with Elias and David! They were great and very thorough. They always checked in with us and made sure we were all comfortable and having a good time! Most of the people in my group have never zip lined and by the end we were all saying how much we enjoyed it! The views were spectacular! Highly recommend doing the zip line when you're in Catalina! Ask for Elias and David! We will definitely be back next time! :)

We had a rocky start. It was not super clear that you HAD to be there 20 min early. I got a text about 15 min before our tour time saying Check in starts 20 min before.... So we missed our time slot BUT they did allow us to rebook later that day and thats when ZACK and ELIAS rocked our world. These two dudes were kind, friendly and SO fun. They made everyone comfortable while being super professional and making sure we had FUN. Thanks to their awesome attention to safety our tour went smoothly and we all felt safe. From DJ Elias spinning random tunes to Zack's hilarious stories, these two were like a well oiled comedy duo throwing us safely down the mountain. We're glad we missed the morning tour. Give these guys a raise!

Fantastic (and intense!) zip line course. Our guides Marco and Clara were stellar and I highly recommend them - they were super good at their jobs, thorough with safety, and brought some much-appreciated humor to what was otherwise a pretty intimidating activity for me. Thanks for the great tour!

Jamin and Bailey are the best combo!

So if you're on the fence or feeling anxious, this review is for you. We had Andrew as our guide and he was awesome. Before we even got on the open air hummer, he was very upfront that the ride would be bumpy and gave solid advice on where to sit if heights make you uneasy. That actually made me more nervous at first, but it turned out to be totally fine. The hummer never gets that close to the cliff edge, and it always felt controlled and safe. The views are unreal!!!!!! seriously breathtaking. We were lucky enough to see 2 bison, 2 Catalina foxes, 2 does, and a young buck. The tour before us saw zero bison, so we were thrilled. We even got to see them up close, which was incredible. As for the ride itself, I didn't find it nearly as bumpy as people make it sound. There were a few spots where the height felt a little sketchy, but in a "whoa" way, not a "nope, I regret everything" way. All in all, I'd absolutely recommend this tour. Don't let dramatic exit speeches scare you off, you'll be glad you did it. There's blankets available on the hummer in case you get chilly. Tips: - bring cash. TIP YOUR DRIVER!!!! - secure your hat and hair, so hat doesn't go flying off

There is also a "Circuit" ride share that will take you around the island for $2 per person. Coming in by tender from a cruise ship is great. The docking area is in town and so close to everything. I exited the tender and walked along the waterfront where I passed a few children's playgrounds with a pirate theme. Then on to where the golf carts are rented. I walked to the pier (Green Pier) where there are bathrooms and many small shops all hoping for the tourist business. They carry the typical port souvenirs. After a long walk on this short pier I got to the end where there is many people fishing with poles and the little set ups they will sell you for a few dollars and the bait too. There are plenty of benches to sit and watch the boat come in and out of the harbour. There is a small beach area that has lots of pretty colored little rocks along the shoreline. The walk to the round Casino Building is pretty much the end of the road before a mountainside resort. I passed by some waterfront restaurants that were even crowded on a cloudy day. My walk back to the tender was quick and the ride back to the cruise ship was also pretty nice and calm.

Keep in mind that it takes 20 years to be able to buy a real car on island. Only one golf cart is allowed per residence. There are no spaces for real cars and more golf carts in Avalon. Our family and friends live here so they have a real car to take us to interiors. Yes you will need a real car to do that! Avalon has enough restaurants and bars to hang out. Casino is also a movie theater to show older movies on certain weekend evenings. They offer tours of this historic casino too. They host NYE gala every year. Beach club is great for summer times. Museum is small but still worth taking a tour. Too bad the spa has closed down, we used to go there all the time. This island has so much to offer. It's the best place for a lot of fun just a ferry ride away!

The tour does an amazing job of hitting the highlights around Avalon, sweeping you up past the historic Catalina Casino, Lover's Cove, and all the way up to the incredible vantage points near Mt. We booked tickets for the 4:15 submarine tour with three kids (ages 5, 4, and almost 2). We showed up at 4:09, feeling good, holding wonder in our hearts, and ready to look at some fish. We hang tight at the entry gate for a few minutes, and at 4:13, the "captain" violently emerged from the submarine hatch like he was on the sinking Titanic. He was at a vibrating level-10 panic before his feet even hit the deck. He glared at us and barked, "ARE YOU HERE FOR THE 4:15?!" We said yes. He immediately declared: "YOU'RE NOT ON THIS BOAT!" Before I could even process his immediate rejection, he snatched the paper receipt straight out of my hand and started screaming into the open air: "ARE THERE ANY SEATS?!" He might have been yelling at his coworker, who was an absolute angel trapped in a maritime hostage situation, or he was just screaming into the void. Honestly, 50/50 toss-up. We finally descend into the submarine. Plenty of open seating. Then, at 4:15 on the dot, our friend Vanessa arrived with her family. The captain intercepted her at the hatch and literally yelled "THERE'S NO ROOM!" into her face. Vanessa calmly asked, "Wait, did you overbook?" The captain threw his hands up and yelled that he had "NO IDEA HOW MANY RESERVATIONS THERE ARE!" Vanessa, using logic, held up the glowing confirmation screen and tickets on her smartphone. The captain stared at this modern technology, looked terrified, and screamed: "I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS!" At this point, broken by the sheer reality of a customer with tickets, he relented: "FINE. But you'll all be seated separately!" We all sat together. Zero stars wasn't an option. I don't know who hurt this man, but if your dream is to get verbally assaulted on a dock by a "submarine" captain who is potentially on the comedown of a bender, this is the cruise for you!
