The boudin balls needed a little work but Ivory was very receptive to feedback. Mimosas were good too. I had the cranberry, it came in a carafe. We finished 2 of them between the 3 of us throughout our meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Grits were excellent, shrimp was a little salty but if I mixed with the grits, worked out well. We had the endless catfish and amazed that it just kept coming. Also ordered a special priced wing and waffle dish that was 2 wings and a waffle, a little snack. My husband and I are big foodies and have been to most of the top restaurants in Houston, Lionel's cooking was as good if not better than the best in town. Every course was absolutely delicious! I emailed the following email to this company and followed up 3 times as well as on social media…read moreand absolutely no response. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Our event took place on October 11 at 4:00 PM. On October 3, I informed the rockstar hibachi team that we would like a quote that included tables and chairs along with the catering service. Then, on October 6 at 6:46 AM, in my email to the team, I specifically stated: "We will be paying for the setup including tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc." I paid the deposit timely and the full balance promptly on the morning of October 11. However, to our surprise, when the chef arrived, there were no tables, chairs, or setup materials provided. The chef informed us that these items were not included in the invoice. I immediately called Adeline from Rockstar Hibachi--whom I had been communicating with--and she confirmed that this was an error on her part. The chef attempted to contact the main office but received no response. As a result, we had to scramble to find tables, chairs, linens, and dishware for 15 guests while our guests were already present and waiting. This caused significant stress and disruption to what was meant to be a smooth, enjoyable event for my mother's 60th birthday. While the chefs were friendly and provided a decent service, it was evident that the assistant chef was new and less experienced.
