For a basic side of grits, it was simply too much. We also ordered one pancake, and I was surprised to find that the only pancake option is their lemon blueberry ricotta pancake. I don't understand why there isn't a basic pancake batter available. What if you don't like lemon? What if pancakes are the reason you came? Being limited to a lemon-flavored pancake seems like an odd choice for a brunch restaurant. We were also excited about the complimentary champagne, but unfortunately it wasn't cold, and neither was the juice. We weren't offered ice until we asked. Our server was also very difficult to hear, so we missed a lot of what she was saying. She may have been new or nervous, so I don't want to be overly critical, but speaking up and making sure guests know about specials and menu options would improve the experience.
