A nice little vape shop with excellent customer service. Prices are reasonable from starter setups to heavy duty rigs. There's a separate "tasting room" for customers to hang out and try new flavors of juice. My typical experience is at Caterpillar Vapes is like this: Get slightly stressed out having to park in a tiny stall right off of Dodge Street (actually, parking is more daunting that it looks and is really pretty easy once you're used to it). After parking, walk in and buy some coils for my wife's vape. Maybe try to sneak a few pics of inside the shop for Yelp but ones that get scrapped because I always end up in the pics due to a little glass reflection. While this isn't the largest vape shop in the area, it'll get you exactly what you need. read more

Caterpillar Vapes - for several years now, the only vape shop I visit here in Omaha ... after the first few times going to another place that was over-priced. At Caterpillar the staff has always been helpful, friendly, courteous, kind ... etc. Prices are reasonable. If you have questions about anything, there's only patient and understanding explanations. And so pleasing to me - at Caterpillar I have never had to endure the pretention of The Sell. It's just a good place. read more

I was a one time vaper who fell back into the spell of tobacco because of the fear the gov't was starting to put a stranglehold on vaping and supply stores. After an unneccessary scare, I returned and found Caterpillar Vapes the most sensible and better supplied store in the area. I'd give Caterpillar 5 stars, but my complaint is the Dodge St store. 3 parking spaces and having to back out in relentless oncoming traffic doesn't make that location appealing to me. On the good side. I was helped, not pressured, in buying my mod, RDA, and any juices I had in mind. Since mesh became the new coil, the store associate explained it all to me, how to determine the length to cut, etc, and set up my RDA there in the store. Good People. read more

The customer service was at an all time low here, I'm just trying to quit smoking and they tried to sell me a huge, outdated device and a tank you can barely find filters for, they didn't listen to what I needed and were very dismissive of my questions. It really seems like they only care about sales and not the customer. Wanting to quit smoking and mostly clueless about vaping, I called to get some basic starter kit prices. The guy was nice and informative enough, so I stopped by. I must have grilled the guy for a good 20 minutes before finally making a purchase, but he was patient and friendly, and I left there feeling like I had a clue about what the hell I was doing. I spent under $30 and ended up with a starter kit with 2 complete rigs (with case, charger, etc.) and a few bottles of juice. Caterpillar and all of their locations in and near Omaha have the greatest employees. Super knowledgeable but not pretentious clownshoes. Many shops act as if their needless obsession with low voltage vaping is a magical hipster godsend. It's not. Due to the amazing people at caterpillar I only shop there and Jackman. Pro tip....if you forgot to get juice and go to their super open late location...know what you're getting. Close to closing time the shop will be filled with bar folks and spun out no sleepers. I stopped in while on a recent trip to Omaha to get a replacement battery and some juice. Extremely friendly staff assisted me. I wanted black licorice juice and he provided me with Hangsen Fennel which actually has a much fresher taste than the juice I have been buying in Seattle. I just placed an online order with Caterpillar and plan to start doing business with them on a regular basis. If their online service is as good as my in store experience - they have a customer for life! Great prices help too :) read more

Best prices! Friendly & knowledgeable staff that are super helpful! Also thanks for opening in midtown it's great having a trusted vape store so close by and one that has the latest vape items. They carry a wide variety of juice flavors but none that give me that WOW feeling but I'm hopeful they'll begin to offer Midas brands or other specialty brands that don't require me to buy multiple bottles of juice to mix on my own. read more
