The bad experience began 2 minutes into the move. I showed the team around the apartment when they arrived and noted 5 high value items, at which point the foreman snidely asked if all my possessions were high value. That set the tone for his team. I found myself constantly asking the movers to wrap things. When I asked one of the movers if he could wrap a small antique table (1 of 5 high value items) in blankets, he rudely complained that it would make it harder to carry. They broke a metal leg on my main sofa and tried to hide it, and dented a custom made bookshelf (another of 5 high value items). When I called the dispatcher after the move to complain about the damages, she refused to file an insurance claim. She also complained that I didn't tip the movers, stating that they are always tipped 15-20% of the moving cost.

We had a perfect service, the packing was fast and very well done and the move went smoothly with no damages and everything moved to the right room following our instructions. As the flat is tricky to reach they used a lift to get things through. Considering the time spent (1.5 days), the use of a lift, the size of the team (5 people) and the quality of the service, it was excellent value for money. The best part in fact was that the team was really nice and smiling all day in spite of the tough job. Charles was the person in charge (pricing and account management), highly recommended. Note that they also seem to use another brand called "Moves" but it's the same firm.
