I love Cath Kidston products, they are beautiful and just remind me of everything that's good about family life. Home cooking, clean sheets, fluffy towels are some of the things that Cath Kidston products remind me of and it puts a huge smile on my face. Unfortunately, real life is a little bit more gritty than the cotton wool wrapped delights of Cath Kidston but it's a nice sentiment to family life.
Cath Kidston stocks everything you need to be the perfect homemaker, towels, dining table accessories, bedding, cosmetics, gardening equipment and this branch has a huge amount of baby clothing.
The only thing is, this particular branch is rather odd. When I popped in last week I can honestly say I've rarely felt more awkward in my life browsing this tiny shop. The staff didn't bother with any of the customers, there was no music playing so all you could hear was the sound of the creaking floor boards as the odd customer walked around the shop and it's not very well organised which makes it feel a bit chaotic. I have to say, it definitely doesn't have a patch on the Edinburgh branch and as I live in Glasgow it's a bit annoying that the best Cath Kidston isn't on my door step but it will do, I suppose. read more
