We were here almost seven years ago so I could have knee surgery and slowly we can see the exciting changes made to this RV park. Yes you're definitely under the flight path, you can definitely smell the dispensary right up the street and if you're in the back corner of the park you can hear all the local businesses promptly and 7am in the morning so if you have dogs that like to bark? Brace yourself lol. Anyways the people who stay here are super chill there's ample shopping and restaurants within walking distance if you like to get out and walk around. It's about a 15 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs or you can just simply Hollar for an Uber. Considering all the surrounding noise if you like to sleep in then this is definitely not the place but if you're an early riser then it's not too bad. read more

Lovely resort with nightly and monthly rates, pool, hot tub, pickleball courts, dog area, and clean restrooms. The clubhouse is always inviting and staff always friendly. I've stayed here for two weeks in 2024 and five months in 2025 and am planning on coming back for the 2026 fall and winter season. Community events include pot lucks, holiday gatherings and more. Resort is clean and well kept. Thus far neighbors have been friendly. read more

The place is run down and dated located on a gravel/dirt lot. The pool "furniture" appears to be from what was left behind by previous guests. When cars and trucks drive through the facility, dust is abundant. The majority are long term stays combined with large service vehicles being stored on the property. The place is located directly under the airport flight path. The planes fly so low the wheels are in the down position. As an avid and very active RV'er, this is hands down one of the worst places I've stayed at. read more

Not the right time of year to visit Cathedral Palms! I could see it mug her be fun in the winter. In July, no one wants to be outside, much less play pickleball! Very little shade and no amenities at our site. We were only there to visit friends! read more

We are 1st time RV people, so far so good. Great check in ... near closing time and Susan was happy and helpful. Laundry room is clean and trash area too. Love the dog park with fresh green grass. Employees always working, from new rocks and bricks to pool area and walkways. Recommend to our friends already! read more

Made a November reservation for a friend in Oct. 2022, then cancelled 3 days later. Refused to give a refund. Susan, who took my reservation said it was her 1st day and would have to clarify some things as we went along in making the reservation. I said ok. Made the reservation and paid for it. Friend called them 3 days later and cancelled. Susan applied the monies to a park credit. - Disputing it with my credit card -- company response - I agreed to the terms. Their terms show- rv sites less than 29 days - if cancelled or changed prior to 48 hours arrival have cancellation or change fee of $5.00 Then goes on to say that no refunds on prepaid reservation. Seems either way they keep your money. Not many places allow a reservation without some kind of prepayment. Very sad- never stayed there and will not recommend it. Look elsewhere if making a reservation in advance. read more

My wife & I had reservations there for Nov 4. when making the reservation, I asked Billy if the Jacuzzi worked because I had a back injury and needed to use it for therapy. He said yes, so I made the reservation. We got there a day early, and found the Jacuzzi drained with yellow caution tape around it. It looked like it had been that way for a long time because there was a lot of algae on the bottom. We went inside and talked to the manager, Paulette Davis and she said it went out yesterday. Then she said that the big wigs at corporate headquarters were too cheap to pay to fix it and had to get 5 bids. I said it must have taken a long time to get 5 bids, and she said it did. The time it took to get 5 bids and the fact that the Jacuzzi sat with algae water showed that it probably had not worked for over a week which means that it probably did not work when I made the reservation and Billy said it did. I asked Paulette Davis to give us a refund and cancel because we would have to stay somewhere else with a working jacuzzi and it was close to 24 hours before the reservation when we stopped by. She said she would put it in the computer and email it to me. When I looked at my email it said cancelled, but it didn't show the refund. When I asked her where the refund was, she said there was no refund. She said it was not her fault the jacuzzi went out yesterday which was a lie because of the algae and the time it would take to get 5 bids. When we called Wendy at AARV parks corporate headquarters, she did not return our calls. They said she was inspecting Cathedral Palms for the next 3 days. I am very disappointed that Paulette Davis felt that it was necessary to lie and try to lie and scam a disabled customer. I found that this RV park is in an unsafe area and people staying there said that you had to put your ebikes in your RV day & night to keep them from getting stolen. There are a lot of homeless people surrounding the RV park that steal ebikes and other things from your campsite. We ended up staying at Indian Waters RV park. I was just a little more money and really nice in every way and we did not have to worry about anything getting stolen. read more

We've stayed at Cathedral Palms for the last 5 yrs for a few days at a time but like it so much we bought a membership for reduced rates so we stay all winter. This is the best value RV park in the Palm Springs area. Spaces are large and mostly private. Restrooms, laundry, and pools are clean. Two dog parks. Adjacent to 6 mile bike path to Palm Springs. Winter guests are long term guests from Canada and USA who are friendly. Staff is friendly and the park provides the main course for a weekly pot luck, a $5 breakfast and a $4 burger. read more

Given the fact it's not exactly a new park I get that the pavement is not exactly pavement it was maybe thirty years ago now it's more like pot holes with loose gravel but the lack of courteous staff is totally unacceptable Is not something that one expect especially at the price One will pay for the opportunity to park in a third world resort in a first class coach I have no problem paying a premium price if you get what one would find anywhere else I realize that this is the high season and trust me I got no discount and the price was going up after the 1st of the year Let's hope that they take that money and invest it back into the park and towards training their employees how to smile and act like they are running a resort and not a concentration camp I'm certain they would of been at home working the gates of Auschwitz or Dachau Just my personal observation and no I won't be back and I'm not telling other not to go Just be prepared for a third Reich welcome Happy camper is not on their agenda They are putting up a new building I wonder if it's where the ovens are going ? read more

There are no refunds and no credits even if there's an adequate amount of time to cancel or an unforeseen life event such a death, illness, or vehicle accident.... even if you've been a loyal customer for years. I strongly suggest you find an RV park that understands life happens, we're all human, and that you should value your customers. Customer service here is lacking to say the least. read more

First time in Palm Springs and found this rv resort last minute. Checked in super late but they taped our paperwork to the front door which made it easy to find. Spots were huge. Plenty of room for our 29 foot rv. Unfortunately we didn't really use the resort since we were there for a baseball tournament. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Only downside is they're not open till 6am. Will definitely go again read more

We've been coming to this park for short-term stays for many years. It was purchased by a corporation and they are putting time and money into improving it. I doubt it will be a beautiful park, but a solid alternative to the ridiculously expensive resorts around the city. Nice people, quiet, satisfactory location. read more

We've traveled by RV all over North America. This park's online registration process is by far the most onerous and time-consuming. About the only thing not requested is your blood type. Yes, we're in a pandemic and yes we want to be careful. But the info requested was extreme. And the place is 2/3 empty except for people who obviously live here permanently. Otherwise, the park rates an "ok" from us. It is quiet and near restaurants and shopping (and a strip club and pot dispensaries if you need 'em). But the park is not pretty. Dirt/gravel roads and sites. Small concrete patio pads are cracked and broken. Nothing pretty. Mechanically, the place is about twenty years out of date. The threads were stripped on the water faucet in our space so we couldn't attach a hose. Big smelly trash dumpsters are out in the open. There are no amenities in the park that encourage you to stay and spend time here. The place looks more like rural Oklahoma than the sophisticated Palm Springs area. But if you're just passing through, as we were, you're just going to want to park the rig, eat, sleep, wake up and get on down the road. Good enough! read more

This place was safe, and clean. Is it a resort? No. Is it a decent and respectable RV park? Yes. There are a lot of folks who are full time residents that was pretty obvious, and some rigs are pretty old, but overall it was clean and seemed to be reasonably well maintained. We have stayed here on a couple of occasions because this place seems to have availability. The bigger higher end resorts are usually booked out. read more

This is a cozy little RV park. The guests and staff have been very helpful and always give a wave when you pass by. The place is very clean and comfortable. I have taken walks through at night and had no worries. They have a pool with a jacuzzi and kiddie pool, laundry room, dog park, a rec room, and activities throughout the week. read more

I have stayed at this park numerous times over many years because of the location. I would not recommend it. The showers are dirty and the park is a major dust bowl. The manager and some staff are rude. The "customer is always right" rule does not apply here. Question them and they will immediately accuse you of speeding. Pretty hard to do with all the speed humps. Idling through creates major dust clouds. There are nice maintained parks in a short distance from here. I have been rving since 1971 and this was my first bad experience with a manager and staff. read more

My wife and I made a reservation to stay at Cathedral Palms RV Resort from 2/11/2022 thru 1/13/2022. They wrongly charged us an additional stay for 2/13/2022 thru 2/15/2022. When I spoke to the manager, Bruce Howel, he refused to take my explanations. When I asked him to provide me with evidences that I was there from 2/13/22 thru 2/15/22 he instead came back and said that I cannot prove that I was not there between 2/13/22 thru 2/15/22. Only shady businesses would put the burden of proof on their customers. He said he was busy at the moment and would get back to me. After 24 hours (in which Bruce Howel did not get back to me), I had to initiate the dispute with my credit card company. Luckily credit card purchases on 2/13, 2/14, and so on proved that we were back in our hometown, hundreds of miles away from this RV Resort. Dealing with this crooked organization is causing me a lot of headache and stress. read more

This RV Resort is a dirty parking lot that is badly maintained. They are next to an industry area which is very loud early in the morning. During my stay there a BIG party went on until 2 am. Plan on losing sleep. Their eletric is out in a big part of the park. The gates do not work. There were street people in the restroom. and the list goes on. And to top it off I heard they were charging more per month starting in Nov. 2010 read more

We stayed at this RV park for 6 nights while enjoying the Palm Springs area. This is a smaller park than most of the parks in the area which is what we were looking for. The spaces were larger than other parks we have been in and they have Oleanders planted between the spaces to give a little more privacy. I believe a lot of the spaces are semi-permanent residents. Our trip to Palms Springs involved hiking and exploring so we were not looking for a park with golf, tennis courts spas etc. The best part was that it was so quiet. We didn't have to hear or be part of a big party. The check in process was very pleasant and the office staff was extremely friendly. We were right under the flight pattern for the airport and it was fun watching the planes fly over us in the evening. There must be a limit on flight times because the latest landing was usually around 9 pm and I don't remember hearing any in the mornings. You don't have to worry about the planes during during the night. Would we stay here again - yes! The location is very convenient. Everyone has different criteria and Cathedral Palms worked for us! read more

Came to this RV park as a suggestion from a friend. We didn't book the reservation, so a lot of information regarding check-in and park guidelines weren't told to us prior to getting there. Check-in is prior to the office closing (5pm), otherwise you have to pull into a parking space until the office can check you in the next day. I have never known a park to do this, and actually expect you to pay the same rate as if you were in an actual space. They do not take any credit cards or payments over the phone, so even if you wanted to do this so that you had an actual spot to check in to, you can't. The park is very loud, with airplanes and sirens quite often. Mornings are loud, with someone deciding each morning we were there, to leave their constantly barking dogs inside their dog run. Showers were filthy and looked like they had not been cleaned in months. Park in general is very run down looking. No paved streets, sites are all gravel (that I could tell). Office staff is completely unprofessional in demeanor and should not be working with the public. Rude to both us and our friends who visited the park (in person and on the phone). Needless to say, we unfortunately will not return, as I see several other parks that charge the same or less and get far better reviews and offer better accommodations, as well as a friendly, helpful staff. read more

We had water troubles at home and our friends offered to let us borrow their RV during the repairs. We went to several places looking for a spot and came upon Cathedral Palms. Kristin at the front desk worked her magic and got us a spot. She was a lifesaver. Everyone was friendly and the place was quiet. We would definitely stay again. read more
