The place is run down and dated located on a gravel/dirt lot. The pool "furniture" appears to be from what was left behind by previous guests. When cars and trucks drive through the facility, dust is abundant. The majority are long term stays combined with large service vehicles being stored on the property. The place is located directly under the airport flight path. The planes fly so low the wheels are in the down position. As an avid and very active RV'er, this is hands down one of the worst places I've stayed at.

We are 1st time RV people, so far so good. Great check in ... near closing time and Susan was happy and helpful. Laundry room is clean and trash area too. Love the dog park with fresh green grass. Employees always working, from new rocks and bricks to pool area and walkways. Recommend to our friends already!

Had a great stay here. The area is nice and quiet. The common areas with covered eating areas was great for eating our meals. The spaces are wider than most in Southern California.

Bring your MAGA hat...or be ready for this guy to drive by slowly and eyeball you. Guess he thought we were "libtards."

We've traveled by RV all over North America. This park's online registration process is by far the most onerous and time-consuming. About the only thing not requested is your blood type. Yes, we're in a pandemic and yes we want to be careful. But the info requested was extreme. And the place is 2/3 empty except for people who obviously live here permanently. Otherwise, the park rates an "ok" from us. It is quiet and near restaurants and shopping (and a strip club and pot dispensaries if you need 'em). But the park is not pretty. Dirt/gravel roads and sites. Small concrete patio pads are cracked and broken. Nothing pretty. Mechanically, the place is about twenty years out of date. The threads were stripped on the water faucet in our space so we couldn't attach a hose. Big smelly trash dumpsters are out in the open. There are no amenities in the park that encourage you to stay and spend time here. The place looks more like rural Oklahoma than the sophisticated Palm Springs area. But if you're just passing through, as we were, you're just going to want to park the rig, eat, sleep, wake up and get on down the road. Good enough!

The pools are nicely lit at night.

There are only 28 pull thru sites for short term rental. And they are located right at the park entrance with no gate, no check-in stop and no lighting, cameras or security. The first and only night we stayed here our $2,000+ electric bike was stolen off our locked and covered bike rack at 3:30am. And the Thule bike rack was ruined. We were awakened at that time by a loud but short motor sound followed by a bang and a shaking of our trailer. At first we thought the wind had blown something into our trailer. It took a couple of minutes to gather our thoughts and look out the windows before going outside. After cautiously proceeding, it was discovered that our bike had been stolen. The next morning we spoke with another camper 1 space over to see if he had seen or heard anything and he did hear the noise but didn't see anything. He also thought it might have been wind related and thus put his awing in. He did however, inform us that at check-in he was told "if you have bikes or camp valuables they recommend that you keep them inside your RV if you are gone or at night". The reason is they have had theft problems before in the RV pull thru sites. We were not given this piece of information. Also that morning we spoke with a full time resident who was taking a walk and she told us this has been a chronic problem at the RV pull thru sites and the complex has done nothing to resolve it. And they usually will warn you to secure everything. We did call the police and they came out to take a report and they confirmed that bike, motor cycle and car theft is pretty pervasive in this area. And they aren't sure why the complex hasn't done anything for better security. Now comes the bulls--t from the management or office staff. We went to complain and inform them of the theft and to request our money back. We also asked why they didn't inform us of the problem and the recommendation to lock stuff in your RV. The woman said "oh we never tell anybody that" which means our site neighbor and the resident just made that up. I asked why there is no gate or lights or cameras or security and here is her response. I paraphrase "The police don't care to even look at camera footage, the city won't let us put in a gate, (even though the police have recommended it), we are not responsible for stolen property or damages". I even asked why wouldn't you attach a flyer or note in the check-in paper work letting people know there is a theft problem in the area? Her response was "if we did that people wouldn't want to stay here". So the result is get your property stolen so we don't lose any customers. Now comes the wonderful customer service - NOT!! At first they offered to return our money. But after going through all the "why do nothing for security" options my wife said "well, we will be noting this problem in our review", and the lady responded "well, if you're going to give us a bad review, forget the refund" and threw my credit back at me. Good Sam has been notified of the park problems and that this park in no way meets the Good Sam standards and should not be recommended.

From the moment you arrive, the friendly and welcoming staff set the tone for a fantastic stay. Check-in is smooth, and navigating the resort is a breeze thanks to the well-designed, easy-to-access sites. Each site features concrete pads with surrounding gravel, and the pedestals are clean, sturdy, and located at the rear of the site so bring a little extra sewer hose and power cable to make setup effortless. The resort grounds are exceptionally well maintained, and it shows. The amenities are beautiful, from the sparkling pool to the spotless laundry room. One standout perk is the seamless handling of package deliveries Amazon, USPS, and UPS acceptance has been one of the most hassle-free experiences I've had at any RV resort. A special mention goes to Brian in maintenance, who keeps the entire property in immaculate condition and is genuinely a pleasure to talk with. While the resort doesn't have an activities director, Diane at the front desk encourages guests to take the initiative: just post an idea, gather a group, and enjoy the clubhouse--which is itself a warm, inviting space perfect for community gatherings. If you're a Thousand Trails member, Palm Springs Oasis is absolutely worth a visit. Beautiful facilities, top-notch maintenance, and a staff that truly cares make this resort one of the best stays in the network. Highly recommended!

The weather was perfect for walking around, and the whole place felt peaceful and easy to enjoy. I've also been to the San Diego Zoo, but this one personally felt more special to me in a different way. I loved the desert setting, the open space, and the relaxed atmosphere. It didn't feel overwhelming or like we had to rush to see every single animal. It was more about enjoying the day, walking around, exploring, and taking everything in. Of course, the giraffes completely stole my heart. You can feed them for $10, and while there was a small line, it was absolutely worth it. Getting that close to them and being able to take photos was definitely one of the highlights of the visit. Overall, this is such a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable place to spend the day. I would definitely recommend visiting, especially during the cooler months.
