workout facility ceiling, where the roof is about to come apart if you look up, probably not safe and probably has mold....
    Jennifer S.

The pool is nice however they don't tell you anywhere on the map that their showers are locked after 10 PM. I've never been to an RV park where you don't have access a shower on site. Should anything happen to your RV like ours did and needed to be serviced and we did not have to have access to our RV shower. The groundskeeper said he even looked at the map and agreed that it was listed nowhere on the e map that the showers close at 10 PM all that it says is the fitness center closes at 10, but that's not the same as a shower. I was not going to work out. I was going to shower. The two showers are located attached to the pool and I get that they want to close the pool off past 10 PM, but maybe they should build a separate shower for patrons separate from the pools so that if they need access and take showers after 10 o'clock that we have the option too. Also, there's no air conditioning in the bathrooms by the tennis courts. That was the only bathroom that's open 24 hours without a shower. There are bugs all over in the sink and the bathroom was 112° inside (at 10:30 at night) They should probably walk around the property as the ceilings are falling apart hopefully there's no mold in here that we are breathing. This is in the state of the Art workout facility with the ceiling about two pieces fall down. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because the pool was nice that's it. However, the pool was closed due to pool cleaning on our first night here.

    One bedroom villa

3.75 stars **This is for the room villa rental. ** Highly recommend but few flaws. Was here for an Ironman event in December. Booked a one bedroom villa that was pet friendly for two nights (pretty in advanced) which made the cost really reasonable for the accommodations you get. The check in was a breeze. Finding the room was also easy as it was right around the corner from the main office. At first glance, it was a massive one bedroom "villa". Everything seemed fairly clean, and you have everything you need . There was some things I noticed though... there was a pretty awful smell that kept reoccurring (I'm pretty sure it was the mini fridge). The couches were pretty dated, as well as the tvs. BUT I wasn't planning on hanging out too much so no big deal. The internet was awful though. I ended up going off their free WiFi and using my phone service instead for the entire weekend. For pet owners: they have TWO dog parks. That was a hugeeee bonus. Here's where it may be better: **A friend of mine booked a two bedroom villa right next door and what was interesting was that setup was completely different. The furniture was modern, the kitchen was a full kitchen, the tvs were modernized. It was literally a full size home. It was just interesting there would be such a huge difference in furniture for a small difference in price and the same place. It would be nice to give "smart" tvs to all villas at the least. Anyways. Overall I was ok with everything considering it was an affordable option for my weekend stay. I would rate this a solid 4 IF not for this final reason. The night before my big event, there was a wedding in the next building over! The music was blaring and there was no sound proofing to the room at all. Luckily it went silent at 10pm (which I suppose is a respectable time for residential living but not a "hotel" rental) Overall. I would still recommend but hopefully some of this helps interested people!

Spent Thanksgiving here with friends. This is a really nice place. All the amenities were beautiful and well kept. The employees were kind and helpful. Plenty of space for the RV's and our stuff. Quiet at night (never heard the train). We made reservations for next Thanksgiving before we left. See you again !!

We loved our stay. Dog park is great, pool nice, well maintained. Near freeway and railroad and would ask to stay in different spot more set back next time. Would stay again.

You can tell how much they genuinely care about the animals, They also are well versed in facts and fun tidbits about the animals as well. We love going to the wallabies enclosure- it's our kids's favorite. We go there first since it tends to be less busy and the wallabies are not chilling in the shade yet. It's so special to walk through and have the wallabies just hang out near you and jump around. We loved seeing so many wonderful animals- wolves, giraffes, zebra, rhinos, monkeys, just to name a few. You could easily spend at least half a day here. There is also a splash pad area for the kids to cool off. If in the area I highly recommend you check out The Living Desert.

Right from the start, Park Ranger T.T. set the tone for our stay. T.T. greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, took care of the check-in process smoothly (license, registration, and insurance), and then went above and beyond by making sure we had clear driving directions so we'd be perfectly set up and facing the right way. That thoughtful attention made arrival stress-free--what a great way to start a trip! Then came the big surprise: brand-new 30/50 AMP pedestals and all the hard work that's gone into site repairs and upgrades. WoW--fantastic! It's obvious that a lot of care and effort has been invested in making the park more comfortable and convenient for guests. We also love how T.T. took our number and has been sending just the right amount of text updates about current and upcoming events--helpful without being overwhelming. It makes us feel connected and part of the fun. And of course, we know it's not just T.T., but the entire team working behind the scenes to keep this resort running so smoothly. You can tell why this park consistently earns 5-star ratings--they've earned it! We couldn't be happier with our return to Thousand Trails Palm Springs. From the friendly faces to the upgrades to the little touches that make you feel welcome, it's an RV resort that just keeps getting better. We'll definitely be back again and again!

This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was very dated (so expect that going in) but very clean--I could tell by how clean my kids' feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room with a pull-out couch was a big plus. The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids. The "water park" is more of a well-done kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time. Poolside service was great--generous portions, and the kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. I didn't enjoy a drink myself but the drink menu was tempting and others seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were excited about the breakfast buffet at the Desert Pearl. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the adult options weren't especially appealing so I decided to pass. What really stood out was the staff--every single person we encountered (front desk, restaurant staff, bellman, security, and pool team) was friendly, patient, and accommodating. When we discovered after checkout that my son left his lovey there, they drove me back via golf cart to try to retrieve it. Overall, everyone offered a level of service made a lasting impression. The only downside was finding quite a few mosquitoes and a moth in the room, likely due to our proximity to the lake. If the room were a bit more updated, pest-free, and did not come with the Coachella tax we paid, this would've easily been a 5-star stay for us.

I spoke to Dallas in the spring and explained that my six-year-old daughter has moments of high emotion and might need extra support. I let him know I was available at a moments notice to give her my support if needed. After a lengthy conversation I was assured she would be welcome. She went for almost two weeks and loved it. Then one morning she had a meltdown because she was sad her friend was in a different group, and she needed extra emotional support from the counselors. I was called to come back, which I did immediately. When I arrived she was in the hallway talking to a counselor and looked like she'd been crying. I thanked the counselor and took my daughter to a room where there were art supplies so we could talk and draw while she worked through her feelings. Dallas came in and said that it had required several counselors to give her support and they didn't have the resources for that. Because of the previous conversation we'd had in the spring, I took it more as a complaint rather than she was being kicked out - my fault, I guess. When she calmed down and wanted to go back in, I took her back to where the kids were playing and she rejoined the program. As I was leaving I ran into Dallas and told him what was happening. At that point he said no, she needs to leave, we don't have the resources to support her. There was no kindness, no second chances. He just kicked a six-year-old out. I had to go get her and drag her out while she sobbed and asked why she wasn't allowed to stay. I wouldn't wish the heartbreak and rejection my daughter felt that day on anyone. I emailed Dallas to remind him of the conversation we'd had in the spring, and told him I was disappointed with the lack of care and kindness shown to my daughter. It's been almost a week and he's never responded. I pulled my older child from the camp, and I don't think we'll return. My son keeps asking why they let kids who bully and hit other children stay, but kicked out my daughter. I have no good answer.
