The first dentistry office that popped up was Curtis Family Dentistry in Mooresville. Reluctantly, due to in part my PTSD have a real tough time in a doctors office. No matter what kind of doctor. But I can truly say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the ladies in the front office was spectacular. Very king and willing to assist with whatever they could. I was then called back rather quickly and met one of the sweetest young ladies you would ever want to meet. Caring, kind, and quick to ask are you okay, do you need anything? Then I met Dr. Will Curtis. Same atmosphere. Very thorough with his explanations and actually gave me choices instead of just ruling it as an extraction. He ended up removing the tooth pain free. I was delighted to get an earlier appointment, based on a cancelation. I like the convenience of them texting for this, as well as appointment reminders. I had an issue, where I had to leave mid-appointment, but they were understanding & Dr. O'Toole was able to see me before I had to leave. Kaitlyn was understanding as well, & I was able to come back in an hour & a half to do the cleaning. They have a very nice & welcoming office. In current COVID conditions, staff wore masks & asked that patients do the same. They have very advanced systems (this coming from someone who hasn't been to the dentist in five years). They then proceeded to call the police who then showed up to my house to give me a breathalyzer. Of course I passed the test and the officers apologized. How is it that you can "smell" alcohol on a person through a glass with a small slit at bottom? I am so thankful to have experienced top notch professionalism from the front desk to the dental assistant and the actual dentist in such a clean office. I received a medium level cleaning and able to review before and after photos of my teeth. I was so amazed. I was advised that I had to have one bottom wisdom tooth that had broken down to my gum, the other bottom wisdom , along with another tooth extracted. I was so nervous and afraid. Ms. Amanda assured me that I will be just fine and explained every step she would need to take. After making sure that my mouth was numb she explained that her biggest concern is that I lift my hand whenever I feel any type of pain.
