Throughout the visit, the staff demonstrated a distinct lack of empathy and a reluctant attitude toward patient care. Instead of taking proper steps to clear old glue from her tooth, the dentist aggressively ground down the existing cap. He removed so much base material that the cap was rendered permanently unusable. This destructive approach appeared entirely focused on justifying the need for an expensive replacement. This incident has caused our family severe emotional stress and undue financial hardship, as we must now seek corrective care elsewhere.

I was out of town when I became aware of a tooth that felt "off", but would only be back in Mooresville a very short time before another trip. Office staff, always professional and kind, got me in for an appointment. Dr. Lembo identified the problem, then she and her staff figured out how to get it fixed that day. An hour later, I was back to see Dr. Montgomery who took care of it in under an hour, pain free and stress free. Excellent experience all around, and I'm a dental wimp, so that's saying something!

the combination of plague and unemployment beyond my control means my oral hygiene has not been up…read moreto par of late. the brushing and flossing and rinsing have continued apace but without regular professional cleanings or assessment of my efforts. not surprisingly I wound up with a bad tooth in desperate need of attention... scary bad... so bad that the x-ray showed the middle of a molar as a cloudy blob :-( also had a cracked tooth that wasn't doing me any favors but funny thing about that is while poking around in my mouth the hygienist pushed the tooth back together! heard and felt it snap back in place and the pain was about cut in half immediately. neat! still had a raging infection in my jaw but way less total mouth pain... Dr Montgomery seems a decent and concerned individual. she came in to assess my situation and explain what my dental problems were and then sent me home with referral slips and a prescription for antibiotics. my x-rays were forwarded to the other doctors along with the notes so all I had to do was make the appointments and take my meds. when I get the urgencies all taken care of I'll be back in for the more mundane treatments and evaluations and some more roller massage chair. when society collapses and the barbarians commence to pillaging I hope someone has the sense to preserve the tools of modern dentistry. yea for teeth doctors plying their trade without pliers!

I contact the office to speak with Dawn about the lack of results and received a call back from a member of the staff that explained the in office whitening really wasn't the most effective method for whitening and we really needed to do a take home kit if we wanted better results. Appointment On Short Notice…read more I reached out to Dr. Haines who is my general dentist on short notice after I felt some sort of infection after having a wisdom tooth pulled at another office. Apparently, I was traveling a few days after my wisdom tooth was extracted and on the 5th day my mouth started to feel irritated and inflamed. Once I returned home, it was time to call and make an appointment for an oral evaluation, which was on the same day I called. After taking antibiotics and thoughly cleaning my teeth, the discomfort subsided, but I still attended to my scheduled appointment with Dr Haines. The wait time was minimal, which is usual at this office, and Cassidy took me to the examination room, listened to my concerns and took some x-rays for review. Dr. Haines took a good look, gently tapped a tooth or two to ensure I was not in any pain. He reassured me that my remaining teeth were in good shape. Most likely I had failed to keep the area clean, which was still healing from the pulled tooth. The antibiotics helped, but I made doubly sure to clean the area after every meal, and so far so good. Thank you Dr. Haines and Staff! I really appreciate the care and attention I have received.

I asked on my first appointment if this included all the work that I needed, and she said yes. When I arrived to start my treatment plan, I was told this was for today's visit and given a new treatment plan cost of over $19,000 as my part to pay. They tried to tell me it was a misunderstanding, but I asked several times if this was everything I needed, and was told yes. IT WAS DECEPTION; they should have given me that treatment plan at the beginning. I left because now I don't trust you.

Here is my review…read more I am a 100% disabled veteran who was sent to PDA from the VA to get my teeth fixed and things started out amazingly; felt comfortable, this is important as my disability is related to healthcare and feeling ignored due to a botched surgery and failed aftercare! PDA sent me to the Wilkesboro PDA office for a second opinion; I went as I wanted to make sure i was getting the right treatment and a second opinion made sense. I arrived about 20 minutes early to my appointment and let them know im im early and they said to wait in waiting room and ill be called at my appointment time. Appointment time came i physically watched people come in and get taken back for appointments AFTER MINE. One guy was called back named Todd we even asked "Which one" ugh it was the other one! i waited approx 20 minutes after my appointment time (total of about 40 - 45 minutes total, yes early was my part) but not being notified or updated and left alone to my own devices and feeling ignored by healthcare.....YET AGAIN....triggered my PTSD so I left and told them ill reschedule when they actually had availability. I left and called the troutman office and scheduling and told them what happened and said NEVER EVER send me to that office again and let me know next steps. NOTHING....RADIO SILENCE.....called VA they calle dthe troutman office who spoke to the office manager who sai dit was all my fault and had the audacity to have the wilkesboro office call me.....HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
