This school has reasons to be both fun and terrible. There are some things that make this school fun but others make it the worst. The first reason I have which makes this school bad is that some teachers are VERY racist. Yes, I'm talking about you miss, (definitely targeted) like some of us actually want to learn but are treated unfairly. WDYM you won't let me sit with my friends just because I'm not the race you like. Some people have their IPADS out because "they forgot their computer" but you're gonna make copies for me when I don't have it... AND you're gonna write me up if you see my phone IN my pocket... My second reason is that the bathrooms are actually so dirty. WHY do the pad machines not work?? They are catching dust. OMG and the nurse? Before we actually got ice packs but now?? FROZEN.NAPKINS. HOW is a napkin gonna fix anything. My final reason is that the food is actually hazardous. We found food that was expired LAST year... Oh and the broccolis actually stink. The fruits smelt so bad because they were DEFINITELY not "fresh". But a few things are great, for example the activities that we did were pretty fun and some of the teachers were nice and made you feel welcomed in there classrooms. But some teachers, PLEASE make your classrooms better. In conclusion, this school is fun SOMETIMES and terrible most of the time. Shoutout to Mr. Fique (best advisory + gym teacher) and Miss Perez. Terrible school. My daughter told me, last year in 7th grade, that her gym teacher walked into the girls locker room as they were changing and watched them as he said "looking good" Once the principal was notified, and she refused to believe them. Do not send your children here. read more

My claim for this yelp review is that this school kinda sucks. (Credit to Mr. Linhart for teaching me about proper writing/RISES) One piece of evidence to support my claim that this school sucks is the fact that some teachers favor the girls who wear shorts that literally don't cover anything over the rest of us. Like what do you mean that they can have a whole IPAD out, but I cant check my phone for the time?... (TARGETED) Another piece of evidence to support my claim is that the food is literally uncooked. I literally found a hard piece of uncooked chicken in my spicy patty. And the lunch ladies are pure evil. The last piece of evidence to support my claim is that the bathrooms are always skanky and crusty. Like tell me why the pad machines are always empty, and there's a whole family tree of cockroaches and bugs under each sink. But one good thing I have experienced here is the humor of some teachers. Like some of them are actually chill and funny. Otherwise, this school kinda sucks. To sum it up, this school is crusty, stinky, and probably hazardous. The teachers don't care, they couldn't care less. They put in missing grades the second it's due but take over 2 weeks to grade. The F students get in less trouble then the A students. Guidance does not care at all. You could get in trouble because someone else said something made up. please fire ms chang. I have sent all of my kids to CMS, my youngest is currently there now. I have had no issues at all. Sure there are classic "middle school" things that happen, but that goes along with the age group - lots of hormones flying through those kids bodies and they're adjusting. I feel for school staff these days as people are so quick to call foul anymore, that the teachers/staff do struggle to discipline in some cases, sure. But that is in any setting these days. Every teacher I've dealt with has been pleasant, the administration has been pleasant, and the extracurricular activities are abundant. My kids all excel in their academics and are comfortably social. They still go back and visit their favorite teachers at CMS and often speak of the times they had there with smiles on their faces. read more
