the people who work here genuinely care about these cats and kittens. Most of the cats here will never get adopted because of their age and health...in fact the majority of these cats have been abandoned. Cats bridge to rescue relies on donations to take care of the animals and they are currently at full capacity will over 100 cats and kittens, of all types. they are amazing and they will make sure your cat is healthy and has all of its shots and is spayed or neutered before they come home to their "furrever" home

This is our youngest cat, Lacey, who we adopted from Cats Bridge to Rescue in Trevose, PA Excellent NO KILL shelter!

Really nice guy, not a great rescue owner (and in fact was told by another rescue owner he was shut…read moredown by the state?). Posted a dog we fell in love with on sight, but Scott did not share honest information about how difficult this dog's behavior was. The dog bit me the day we picked him up because Scott was trying to insist on getting a picture before we left. I thought it was a one off, but now that we have come to know the dog, I realize that Scott was completely out of line sending this dog to a home with a young child and we are - despite our best efforts - in a position of needing to rehome a dog we cannot trust. I wouldn't in a million years send this sweet but troubled pup back to Scott, so I was relieved to hear he was shut down.

Scott Steinman posted a picture of a puppy he called a Cane Corso. When I went to his home it…read morelooked like a pit mix. She was covered in dry fecal matter and stank, he didn't bother to bath her at all. She was kept outside without a dog house for shelter in below freezing temps. She had an old harness on her that was digging into her flesh and choking her, it left skin irritation. The food he gave her was Purina One Plus, very crappy food. Her skin was dried out from the cold weather. I paid for her because I know if I left her there she would freeze to death without any shelter. He said she had two shots plus rabies! I checked with him and the shelter and there was no record for this puppy anywhere. She had no wormings done and no heart worm preventative done, plus he sold her without being spayed first!! He might have cared about saving dogs lives at some point but not anymore. I paid $650 for this pit mix. The only reason I took her was because she was neglected and in such poor condition she would have died in his care at some point. Scott is clearly unfamiliar with dog breeds, nutrition, and lacks insight and compassion for these dogs in his care. He said he would take her back if I ever wanted to surrender her so that way he could sell her twice and get more money for selling a surrendered pup. I would never take her back to him, the puppy would have been better off at ACCT Philly than in his possession for shelter and an adequate diet. I think he may be using donation money for his own dogs because he definitely Did Not spend a penny on her. He only gave her enough low quality food to keep her alive and that is about it. There were no other dogs outside, he kept some in his garage because I heard them barking. He probably gets free dogs from the Amish and then turns a profit on them. This IS NOT a rescue, it is a broker of animals for his own gain. He might sound compassionate but his actions speak louder than words!! I rescued a dog's life from this rescue. I could not turn my back on this pup it was heart wrenching. All of these pictures he posts are bologna! Staged to drum up donations probably for his own pets. Charlatan! He was so fixated on the myth that this pup was a Corso and did not accept reason that it was a pit mix. He was trying to justify the high price he was charging $650, with no shots, no Wormings, no vaccines, and not being spayed. He is really daft. Try to adopt from a reputable shelter like Acct Philly. They do everything with shots, wormings and spay before you adopt. Plus the dogs there get fed and have shelter from the elements. This broker should be put on the Dog Rescue Wall of Shame!

So happy I was able to adopt my English Cream Golden Retriever from To Love A Canine. I am apart of…read morethis program that trains rescue dogs to become service dogs and was thankfully able to get my wonderful dog for free as a military veteran. The adoption process was easy since I'll be going through the program and they found me a dog that is everything and more than what I wanted and expected in a doggie. She is so relaxed, calm and very lovable. She loves attention and needs it constantly which is what I want. I can't wait to get her trained so she can help me in the home on days where I can't get out of bed because of my back and difficulty doing so. I am so thankful for the team at this rescue for making the adoption experience easy and fast. After they found me a dog that would match my preferences, they emailed me a picture of Navi ( her new name is Navidad, since we bought her before Christmas. We met Navi the next week, and I basically got to bring home my new furry daughter the same day. I was able to meet the foster family who had her to ask questions about her and to find out her favorite treats, food she eats and to get any other information I wanted. Brought Navi home and she bonded quickly with me and my daughter. She dragged me up the steps and somehow knew where we lived. It's like she knew she was home. It's been almost 2 months now since she's been adopted and it has been the best experience of my life. My dog changed me in so many ways, and for her being my first dog I am so happy I got her. Her temperament and personality matches ours and we love her so much. If I decide in the future to get another dog I would adopt from To Love A Canine Rescue again.
